I was at the lecture site and only invited guests mainly men and women of the Kikuyu tribe were allowed to come close to Jack Ma I was very disappointed because I wanted to speak to him personaly Only intellectuals of affluent KIKUYU men and women were allowed to be near him ALL other Kenyan Africans like luos .akambas. Kisiis Kalengins and Kenya Indians were forced to watch Jak Ma from a big screen out side the lecture room The event was badly organized and I had to go home They had announced that he was coming at 2 pm and he only appeared at 4 00pm Welcome to Kenya Jack ma where tribalism and corruption is a trademark of Kenyan Society
@Rajiv Shori - What are you talking about? What happened to you in 🇰🇪 Kenya? Because I know alot of Kenyan Indians and we were all sitting together as Mixed Tribes. 👳 - Please go back to wherever you came from. If you wanted to be given FIRST priority in KENYA because you are INDIAN SORRY NOT in KENYA. We are ALL treated EQUAL. Ok? THANK-YOU.❌❎ 👳 - And Please don't think about going to SOUTH AFRICA because ☻ are Tired of People like you.🇿🇦👈
Best speech of all time. The same message was delivered by Dr. Myles Munroe on his last trip to Kenya in 2014, that Africa is the next big opportunity to venture in and thrive.
Jack Ma was full of wisdom. I wish the youth of this nation can listen to the words in that lecture instead of blindly following the lying and thieving politicians. We need to transform this nation with the available opportunities that we already have.

We need such people who can share their wisdom, not those who come to Africa and think they can disrespect us, our cultures, and steal whatever they want and leave.
1m- your money to spend 20m - your money to invest 1bn - the society's money. The people gave you the money because the trust you more than the government. Jack Ma.

I thought i was alone to notice this thought "Europeans worries too much, that's why they aren't moving fast". Jack Ma nailed so much of our continental differences, us Africans we are now and right time to act properly.
Such a great speech. In conclusion, one who good at technology and having an innovative idea/solution can make a huge difference to the world. Today TOP Billionaires are all tech companies: * Amazon * Microsoft * Facebook * Alibaba * Apple

Jack Ma is describing the information-tech age revolution which is replacing the industrial revolution era way of economic growth. Information is a consumer resource and tradeable commodity like any other, it travels to people in miliseconds and requires no packages or transportation. In my own country the UK, our economy is largely a service-based economy and it's been that way for decades...manufacturing accounts for very little of GDP compared to other Western countries and the biggest manufacturing economy of all, China. Jack Ma in China was a visionary and saw the value of information and the role technology would increasingly play in our daily lives and our economies in the 21st century. And this is just the beginning like he said. It's still really in its infancy. The possibilities and opportunities in the future are boundless. AI, virtual realities, humanoid robotics etc. There's so many opportunities today for new businesses startups compared to when I started an internet business in 1996 when the internet was SLOW as Jack described and nobody saw any commercial value in the Web, especially businesses. Yet 24 years later we're now using information and data with technology increasingly more to make things better in every area of society and for every industry sector. We have Uber app, food delivery service apps that cross all industries, market comparison tools, investment bots and algorithm tools, Google Assistant and Alexa AI's that make our daily lives more efficient and how we interact with technology easier. Technology and the Internet is now challenging the very way our societies think about things like government. Who would have thought that for under $250 you can buy a 3D printer and produce or replicate virtually anything to a nearly mass-produced qualit...even your own guns as many are now doing in US. 25 years ago 3D printing and smart phones seemed like science-fiction gadgets. I wonder what's around the corner in the next decade or so? Someone somewhere is going to create a great new concept never seen before. We call these enterepreneurs 'industry-disrupters'. And being first to market is very important in tech.
