Many moons ago, Jack donated his stuff to a bank of stuff. 13 years later, Elliot is on the search for his biological father.
Season 3, Episode 25, Sons and Lovers Part 2: In the one-hour season finale, an exasperated Grace (Debra Messing) tries to mediate between a resentful Will (Eric McCormack) and her sloppy, free-spirited boyfriend Nathan (Emmy Award-winning guest star Woody Harrelson) when Nathan moves in while Jack (Sean Hayes) is in a royal dither as he plans to finally meet his unseen father face-to-face. However, Grace grows nervous when the two polar-opposite men find some common ground and she ponders how a devoted boyfriend might affect her equally important relationship with her longtime buddy Will. After settling his father issues, Jack later gets the surprise of his life in a most unexpected fashion. Megan Mullally and Shelley Morrison also star.

ABOUT WILL & GRACE
That's right, honey! A decade after their unforgettable eight-season run, comedy's most fabulous foursome is back. Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally reprise their celebrated roles as Will, Grace, Jack and Karen. The 11th and final season of Will & Grace will feature 18 episodes. Behold once again, from the minds of Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, TV's wittiest ensemble ever. The legendary James Burrows, director of every original Will & Grace episode, has returned with a slew of razor-sharp jabs and dirty martinis. Will & Grace stands as NBC's most watched comedy in seven years. Originally debuting in 1998, Will & Grace has been nominated for 91 Emmy Awards, winning 18 of them, including Outstanding Comedy Series. The series has also earned seven SAG Awards and the show is one of the few in TV history where each member of the cast has won an Emmy.

Back when I was a kid, I never really cared about this show. I only knew its title Will & Grace and back then I thought Will was being played by Sean Hayes while Grace was being played by Megan Mullally. That was my impression coz I only saw the short teasers on tv and every time they air those teasers it was always highlighted by Sean and Megan scenes. I was surprised to find out years later that Will & Grace were in fact played by two different actors. This show was carried so hard by Sean and Megan that it should have been titled Jack & Karen. With that being said I don't think a Jack & Karen spinoff would have worked without the characters Will & Grace.

Jack and Karen were terrible people but it was just them being themselves, no self-awareness that they were horrible. Will and Grace were both awful people too but they were aware their behaviors were awful and did them anyway. I prefer Karen and Jack.

I wish Bonny had appeared in more episodes. I'm so curious why she chose Jack's donation. Jack didn't seem to remember her from the bank when they finally met in a later episode, and going off what was information was in his file according to this scene, it doesn't exactly seem like the two of them would have had a lot in common. Was it important to her to have a kid who'd be able to dance, or did Jack include information about having really amazing genes that we didn't hear about?

Agreed. They think they're doing it " better" because suddenly all of the members are being given " representation." This was not representation? @@christianali5431Well said. I said it to my sister years back watch them make W&G “toxic” because they didn’t even censor Karen for the f term which I still don’t care about. @@christianali5431 I couldn't have said that better, myself. Ha...ha...ha...representation. TV today is soooooo bad because, people are wayyyyyyy too sensitive. Especially, if it's based on anything lgbtq. I truly hope noone takes that the wrong way. I am one of 7 and, 5 of us are gay/lesbian so, I said what I said, legitimately, not disrespectfully. W&G will never be toxic!!! Haha. Even with the unnecessary negative outlook, from the sensitive viewers...NOPE! That show can and will, teach young and confused female/men, how to accept themselves, the right way, for one. And, to understand that it doesn't matter how long afterwards, it takes for them to be comfortable enough to tell any, and or all, friends&family!!!!! ❤️ Movies and TV shows today, that represent/include, lgbtq, are done very poorly.

@@christianali5431 That is absolutely, false. Gay pride itself, has NOTHING to do with the ruining of any community. The heterosexual people that live there and, their beliefs/outlook on gay/lesbian people, is what makes or ruins a community. So many examples: Seinfeld, HIMYM, Young Sheldon, Will and Grace... All these shows would have been better without the main character.

As much as I love Jack and Karen's scenes, a whole entire show of nothing but their antics would get old pretty fast. What I loved about Will & Grace as a show is the different dynamics all four characters had with each other. Characters like Will & Grace, especially back in the late 90s, needed to be relatable enough on the surface amongst the average American viewer to secure a wider demographic and keep studio execs happy. With secondary leads like Jack & Karen, you can have these characters act as rambunctious as you want because they serve as hilarious foils to the main leads; Karen is the worst assistant to Grace but deep down also cares about Grace's happiness, and while Jack is a hot mess who can't keep a regular job and is financially dependent on Will, he showed Will how to accept himself and be a confident and proud gay man. Just a character study observation I made after having recently finished a whole series re-watch (except for the revival, I'm not sure I wanna touch that)

Don’t tell me or anyone what is and isn’t a reason to dislike the character. Also, Jack’s Father didn’t abandon him. His Mother had a one night stand at a swingers party and never knew the man’s identity, only that he was one of 11 brothers. The guy never knew Jack existed.

Then again, they don’t tend to favor different opinions because I also find it selfish to use women as surrogates for what we can’t naturally do because “it’s a business” 🤷🏽‍♂️ What you said was true. Loved the show. Parents bought me the DVD’s growing up. Jack was just always a narcissist

The bad thing about this show was that the cute men are all straight in real life.

I've never even met my dad. When I was eight, a fatherless, naïve child, I asked my mom if my sister's dad (who lived hours away) could be my dad. He agreed and I started calling him dad, but stopped at 16. It's been handshakes and casual chats since (when I very rarely saw him). At my sister's wedding (2019), I feel he interacted with me a bit too much: seeing who's taller when I casually mentioned my height, fist-bumping, remarking how good the food looked, praising my heart and apologetic anxiety about possibly hurting someone (when I mentioned my lack of filter). And, I don't exactly know his motive here, but at some point, he said I doubted myself. It was some conversation about pride, I believe. When I denied my self-doubt and said I just didn't like to sound conceited, he said I should see it as confidence and that I was amazing. I'm kinda awkward now--because of sappiness for one thing--but also because...maybe he was just being nice to me? Looking “down” on me? I mean, you could say I ✌"forced"✌ him to be my dad at one point, so maybe he was ✌"forcing"✌ himself to see my good qualities? (But I say “force” loosely so don’t overthink that particular word.) Not to say he's a bad guy or snob or anything; absolutely not! Maybe a good guy who made a mistake---unintentional patronization?

@@varoonnone7159 Thank you. I'm still finding my way in life, to be honest. I guess I'm a late bloomer What do you think about my sister's dads "kindness" toward me? A little bit embellished?
@addex1236
@addex1236 Год назад
Your over thinking it your his nephew your his family your his sisters child he loves you thats why sometimes life's that simple I mean your his flesh and blood just take the kindness this is probably why he talked to you about pride your stupid no offense because of your pride the fact that you think a blood relative was looking down on you because you didn't dad is stupid I'm guessing your kind of young because I have family history and I went through a phase that but yah just let the man love yoh

@@addex1236 I'm not his nephew. Or a blood relative. Why'd you refer to him as a "blood relative"?
@varoonnone7159
@varoonnone7159 Год назад
@@johnrainsman6650 He was trying to do what his conscience and feelings dictate. Being fatherly to a child is natural especially since he was already your stepfather. You shouldn't overthink it even if he acted a bit awkwardly after so many years. That's a very humane reaction. One doesn't chose one's birth parents, who can be good or not so good parents. But the fact that a kind man treated you as his son is even better, if you think of it. 😊 Try to make it work, speak to him, rekindle the link. Just don't let the relationship drift away. I've seen people who weren't as lucky as you. This might surprise you given that you didn't meet your biological father but there are so many people out there who had no parents to grow up with. Cherish what you have 🤗
