@@justinkuebrich8081 dude, listen to the amount of cheers he just got in Chicago. I was fully expecting everyone to boo him out of the building but a ton of people were stoked. They were chanting for him. But, haters gonna hate no matter how good AEW and Jack Perry are doing. You don't gotta hate. Just try and watch with an open mind and stop taking sides. You might be surprised. ✌️😊
@@BrockAwesome I’ve watched aew from day one and still a fan. In my opinion he’s not a star. Not from Chicago either but spitting and stepping on their state flag to get heat and getting cheered in Chicago is pretty confusing. The guy he’s making his entrance about, now he’s a fucking star.
Good for little Indy niche marks who showed up in Chicago for a wrestling promotion most Americans have never heard of before. If Luke Perry’s bastard gets more cheers in the WWE, in Chicago, with Punk on the card then I might be impressed.
Scapegoat- : one that bears the blame for others. b. : one that is the object of irrational hostility He is to blame and so are the elite and tony. There is no scapegoat in aew. They get what they deserve good or bad. Also dumb nickname for a wrestler. No one is intimidated by that or feels anything towards that at all
I still like Cm Punk but dat promo Jack cut was soo good. In my opinion the fight helped both. Cm Punk wanted out. And we finally get to see him back in WWE. Jack becomes a bigger star if he uses this right (which he has and hopefully still does)
I was there. I took video too!! great matches all night long, the crowd was eletric and the Scapegoats entrance was a lot more mixed than i anticipated. Scapegoat > Punk!!!!!
Ngl I thought the fight was worse we always heard of backstage fights back in the day and those wrestlers always made peace Especially Chris jacro whatever his name is in wwe in the past now in aew
that's how you capitalize on controversy!, not making someone else more famous about it but making YOURSELF more famous about it!.. Tony must learn a thing from Perry
You didn’t think Tony releasing the footage was done by design? You idiots thought that it was aew taking shots at punk when in reality it’s to introduce Jack Perry back into pro wrestling. And like it or not, it paid off
@@bainbridgeomega that shit was embarrassing. tony and the bucks r just a bunch of sensitive clowns. Tony litterally buried alot of talent in that episode. Makinh ospeary look like a fool and taking the attention away from stricklands momentum. Tony is a smark clown and needs to stay away from aew if he and the fans want it to survive.
@@bainbridgeomega Paid off? Tony sacrificed the image of his entire company just to get a minor ratings bump and to get one mid-carder over who isn't even wrestling in AEW atm. What's more, his stunt ended up making the competition (Punk & WWE) look good in comparison. The damage to the company is more severe than any dividend that a single wrestler of Jack's caliber would be able to bring in.
@@180223 yeah you sound like those has been soundbytes talking the same crap over and over again. Listen, it’s obvious that you didn’t see the ppv because if you did you would realize just how over jack Perry is. Sure, eventually the punk high is gonna wear off, but at least now Jack has some foundation to his heel persona that he can build on. And wrestling fans are fickle and have ADHD. After a few weeks people are gonna move on from punk to the next adventure. You and other idiots like you are just hoping that this blows up in TKs face, but as MJF said, none of you twitter fake journalists knows anything
Isn't Perry pretty much doing the same thing as Drew except he's using a shirt instead of a mic to get the message across? Punks' putting a lot of food on people's table these days, whether intentional or not.
@@Felipe-kh6cg he’s not on tv in anyway. The angle showing the footage involves FTR and the Bucks. Punk and Perry are the ones getting all the attention. Pretty simple point tbh
@@neilsmith9066 how old are you?? At 26 punk was the biggest indy star in the world and had just signed to the WWE. These young fans don't know shit about history
@@badjoker23 because the job of a pro wrestler is to get the crowd involve it’s not wins or loses it’s who pays attention whether they boo or cheer. If nobody did anything then he would be like 90% of Wwe wrestlers and 95% of AEW wrestlers
@@neilsmith9066 u means if a debut wrestler from major promotions dont even have a 100 people in the arena and thats not the job? .... U seem like hate indy wrestling or njpw.
Do you people understand now why AEW did with showing a footage Tony Khan is daddy when it comes to making a buzz, WWE bots and Triple H could only cry, from Cornette to Bischoff they all can kiss AEW's ass
He Is more relevant than every single wrestler in Aew and Njpw. You wouldn't be talking about an average wrestler like Perry if it wasn't for CM Punk. He put life in a stone with a slap and choke
Hey attendance numbers fan, im sorry but this is footage of a wrestling event, maybe looking at bird's view camera of the superbowl would tickle your fancy enough to cream your pants. Go watch it.
Conttare what everybody thinks. Not everyone from Chicago loves him CM Punk that is I'm from Chicago I hate him he has been irrelevant for some time now The only people that cheer for him are the WWE Marks
@@neilsmith9066 True but nonetheless one thing you got to give punk is that he definitely has learned from his mistakes & mind you the dude is getting his $$$ right now as we speak / tell me how much Jack Perry is doing $$$ wise with those 100 tix per discount in AEW
@shikuri3178 still have no clue how he's the bad guy. Punk literally went after him while he was fixing his hair. Punk got his feelings hurt by Hangman, Jack Perry, and so many people in his first WWE run. He's a narcissist with a tantrum problem. He also went after Jack right after Jack had a match.
@kimchi2780 Exactly. I know Perry is supposed to be the heel, but even Chicago loved him. Punk fans have no other defense right now, but to hurl little baby insults because their old 45 year old washed up straight edge hero got shown up by a 26 year old that he threw a tantrum at.
