This is actually Season 9, Episode 16, not Episode 1. When the series returned, it just picks up where it left off, now on it's 9th season. It was amazing to me that the show looked NO different, nor did the actors.

@@popland1977 they were recycling storylines from throughout the original series run. I think it was a mistake to retcon the show entirely. The writers regressed the characters. They should have allowed Will and Grace to keep their teen kids which would have allowed for different storylines.

That’s partly because unlike the original, the primary motive of the reboot was political propaganda and not entertainment and partly because the cast’s hearts were clearly not in it the second time around

Both terms have a complicated history in the spanish speaking world, and applying hispano (etymologically speaking latin for "from the Iberian peninsula") to south-americans only is a mostly USA thing. A very common use of the term is to consider all spanish speakers hispanic (including Spain), while latinos are latin americans (including non-spanish speakers like Brasil). But when I say complicated I mean it, so I would not dare correct anyone for their use of the word
