Not trying to sound mean but in my humble opinion, Tracy Morgan and Sherri Shepherd were the only “weak links” in an otherwise flawless cast. They both sound like “stand up comics” newly turned into actors(ish). Not that some stand up comics don’t turn out to be brilliant actors but unfortunately this is not that exception. It’s not a race thing, trust me. I’m Black so please don’t come for me.

You’ll note I started with a disclaimer…I don’t want to sound “mean” but again if you’re going to cast a show with “A”list actors then pair them opposite a few “non actors” it’s very jarring. That can only work if the show is written specifically for the “non actor” and the others are in supporting roles. A great example of this would be “Seinfeld”who basically did his “stand up”. He was no Robin Williams. Again, I mean no disrespect.
