The husband of one of our employees made me some hot ass salsa one time. So of course I had to say "Tell him to make me some salsa, not apple butter". He came back with death in a jar! I'm surprised it didn't melt the glass.
Yeah he is genius at that and after he gets smashed he always adds something like in jackass one he fights butterbean and gets knocked out and needs stitches but still manages to mumble how's butterbean? Lol
I don't think Sean William Scott gets enough credit in this scene. He doesn't have a single line in this scene, but his laugh and hand movement's are all he needs to add so much to this clip.
This perfectly explains why steve-o calls him captain. He never half assed or cheated us the fans. He made sure to run full speed into danger, in this case a hall of fame Defensive End and he's always an amazing showman with his one-liners after he gets obliterated lol Thank you captain for destroying your body for our entertainment. Love always
It’s one of the other reasons why the frontman of The Minutemen lets them use Corona: he’s never been a fan of Jackass, but he respects them for that the stunts are real and nothing is half-assed.
most hardcore dudes on the planet, taking hits so hard that other people feel their pain. Then they just get up and laugh it off. All in a days work I guess! Crazy, loveable motherfuckers
salamango81 yes they have padding cause most tackles happen at shoulder torso area, as video demonstrates, and rugby is more at the waist area, cannot really compare to each other only that both still fucking hurt, when you get hit
salamango81 Um, Rugby is a lot less about hitting, its more about wrapping someone, Football padding does not protect you from a 325 pound man hitting you at full speed.
+salamango81 lol it's against the rules in rugby to have your feet leave the ground while tackling, and you can't spear tackle. that's child's play compared to football hits
+BaconMan agreed. Though Jared Allen weighs like 250, a football player at 325 at full speed....not much speed at all in the way you're putting it. I get it though
@@SharksSJ408 well the blind side tackle ( Ethier right or left depending on the QB but usually the Left tackle) is the 3rd highest paid position. Followed by defensive linemen. Teams usually like to blitz from the blind side of the qb so the tackle usually has the most blitz to pick up.
@@SharksSJ408 I see what you're saying, but it's all about finding the balance. Pay your talent but draft prospective players to fill your needs. Not everyone can be the highest paid. If you're only paying your O Lineman top dollar your team will suffer in other crucial areas. Say for example you had only All-Pro O-Lineman and D-lineman and they were 80% of your cap. The rest of that 20% is going to the other ~30 players on your team, and that's thin money to spread around. I do agree though, the game is won in the trenches.
I remember they did an experiment a while back on who could hit harder. A SWAT officer with a battering ram, or Ray Lewis with his gear on. They attached sensors to a reinforced door and according to the sensors, Ray Lewis’s tackle generated more force than a trained SWAT officer swinging a metal battering ram at it (side note: he got a short running start and body-slammed the door to simulate a tackle, he didn’t just stand there and punch it). They concluded that the only reason why guys don’t die from hits like this in the NFL is because 1.) regulation pads in the NFL reduce the impact by a notable percentage, and 2.) the human rib cage is able to flex to a certain degree so that it doesn’t shatter like peanut brittle every time you get hit in the chest. And for those of you who say hits like this don’t happen in real football, look up compilations for the hardest hits in the NFL and and you’ll probably change your mind.
There's a video out there of the world's strongest man punching a middleweight boxer so hard that he tore his esophagus. They had to cancel his match days later.
@@nubreed13 wear players down??? It makes them mentally Ill and damn near everyone that had severe damage killed themselves… And they were so aware that it was from that damage that they shoot them selves in the chest so they can study their brains
OMG... I played ten years of football and Johnny Knoxville just took more damage in two hits than I did in all ten of my years. He was lucky he wasn't seriously injured or killed... those hits were vicious!
Knoxville very easily could have just used his fame after the tv show or first movie and just watched the other guys get mangled. But he always took his beatings with his signature laugh. A true legend.
We should all at least take 1 moment to recognize & appreciate Johnny Knocksville's insane durability & resilience to countless catastrophic collisions over the years. Taking a hit is as much an artform as dealing 1 ever was.
These guys are the only ones allowed to do this stuff. Nobody will pick up another show like it. That’s why this show just gets better as it gets older.
@@borris3768 Yeah anyone can do it, they just won't get a TV show to do it on. Jackass broke the mold, and nowadays it's just too big a liability to promote this stuff. They pretty much own this type of thing.
