Thanks NME for giving me the chance to interview Johnny, he was wonderful - a true gent, on and off screen. It was great chatting to him and thanks for your nice comments on this. I hope everyone enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed chatting to him. x
I live for Knox talking about steve-o being sober; you can tell how genuinely proud and supportive he is. It makes my heart swell to see knox still so supportive of him 14 years after he staged the intervention. I love their friendship
One of the best jackass interviews I’ve seen of late. It’s normally like the same 7 questions every time but here we’ve got some insightful and well thought out questions, and you can tell they’re from a BIG fan!
CONFIRMED: Jackass 4.5 will happen!!! Thank goodness those follow up bts films always escape my memory so when they drop they're always a surprise and sometimes funnier then the actual film.
I remember years ago working at Harrahs Casino as a cashier (it was a WSOP charity event) and seeing Johnny sitting with someone and talking. I so wanted to go up to him and tell him how amazing I think he is. Not just for his stunts, but his personality is just so out there, while I'm so opposite. I just admire his mind.
Johnny is so cool. Sorry for the loss of your father, sir. Even if it was years ago it still feels recent, huh? My dad thought you guys were very funny. Thanks for making him smile. God bless you guys.
Dear NME, Please can you feature more of the interviewer Wee Claire. The best interviewer ever! Professional and engaging and is able to get the most out of those she is interviewing. 10 out of 10. Best interviewer !
It's gotta be tough and painful for Knoxville to not be able to talk about the cky part of jackass...you can tell he wants to at times..you can see it in his eyes..but he stays on script. like he said...it's a comedy..all the other drama is just depressing
@@craigmahaney4369 no...he could. he does in this video actually...only because she threw him off with an unscripted question. he wants to...its just too painful
I wish someone would ask him about fear and what doing incredibly dangerous stunts for like 30 years has done to his psyche in everyday life. For instance, if most of us get into a car accident, even a minor one, it's still a traumatic experience. For this man, I'm curious how his stunts have helped him cope with any stressful situations in life.
Howard stern somewhat asked him this during this press tour. Johnny basically said he told his therapist not to ask any questions about the stunts because he didn't want to change that part of his brain that makes him seek out thrillseeking until this movie is done. But he said he's at a point now after the bull stunt (he had to go on antidepressants for the first time in his life because it messed his brain up so bad) to where he wants to figure out why he's like this.
@@Kitcomedy - As the guy above me pointed out, Dico quit all of this stuff behind him a long time ago which is a shame.. The Poo prank on Dunn was hilarious... *"Congratulations"* 😂
Believe it or not, Johnny's hair was greying back in the 3rd movie, perhaps even earlier than that, he mentioned it in the Steve O Podcast a week or so ago, he's been dyeing it every 3 weeks or so but now he's sort of just letting it be
I think the real reason they never had a woman on the crew before now is because from the get she would've left them all in the dust when it came to toughness. Women go through so much shit every day, they are in no ways the weaker sex.
Love jackass crew instead of bringing new faces sometimes you gotta move on! Jackass forever was dope seeing the OGs the new cast is wack! Except poppies
sorry, i can't bite my tongue any longer, why does Knoxville get to brag about drinking in every interview for jackass 4 while condemning steve-o and now bam Margera for their drug use?
Bam is under a guardianship and in a secure facility because he was so out of control of his life. Knoxville is partly kidding for the camera and obviously knows when to stop. He's been an actor and a professional for all these years and has never had a problem meeting his obligations. He's not out making a spectacle of himself. There's a huge difference between partying in moderation and being an addict. (Also I don't hear him condemning anyone. Saying Steve-O had a problem or that he wants Bam to be in a healthier place is not condemnation. Steve-O has repeatedly said Knoxville literally saved his life by staging that intervention. He HAD a problem and it needed to be called out.)
It’s not all-or-nothing, some people can drink and take drugs recreationally. Some can’t. The ones that can’t handle it shouldn’t be encouraged to do it, and the ones that can aren’t hurting anyone, so they shouldn’t be discouraged from doing it. I can’t imagine how that’s hard for someone to understand, are you maybe an addict yourself?
Bam was fired as he was taking medications he is prescribed yet Johhny is out every night drinking an that's fine as we all know alcohol has never killed anyone an it's not addictive lol
Bam himself called himself a sweaty fat fuck in an interview and he honestly has no one but himself to blame for where he's at now in life. Yeah Johnny is drinking but I'm sure it's in moderation and not to deterioration, unlike the aforementioned Bam.
It’s bc he’s lost it man. He can’t function normally without being mad at everyone, he’s also been a spoiled brat and he got stricter rules bc he’s losing it and he got pissy and made all these things acting like everyone in jackass hates him and how they’re all this and that when they care and that’s why they didn’t have him. He’s now in a asylum place I think getting help bc he wasn’t okay and you can’t have someone with that kind of sad or upset mindset on extremely dangerous and dumb stuff.
