To be fair, I'd consider the WHOLE Jackass saga to start with CKY, then Jackass the show, then all the movies, the Gumball 3000 stuff, then Wildboyz, Bad Grandpa and Viva La Bam.

I saw an interview around the time this came out, with Johnny Knoxville, talking about the show and the movies in general. At the time Knoxville mentioned that the red rocket stunt at the lake was, at the time, the most terrified he's ever been. The very first launch that went wrong, when he hopped of the rocket and started laughing, it was him "laughing at death." The first try, on of the actual rockets inside the model red housing misfired and went through the side, about just 2 inches or so to the side of his torso, very close to his heart.

Facts. Bam Margera the one who was scared of snakes (cobra) had his uncle in this film with a lot of stunts meant to be shown but were cut out because he got arrested before this film was released so all the scenes of the Uncle were removed and was never allowed to be on TV. Some scenes with Steve O and Chris Pontius were unused footage of the canceled 5th season of their show "WildBoyz" a spinoff about them exploring animals including dangerous ones. The 5th season was canceled right after a popular animal explorer and expert Steve Irwin was killed. And the part where Bam and Ryan Dunn got yanked by a horse at the end Ryan Dunn suffered a blood clot and caused him to feel miserable and away from the cast and society for 2 years until he started to come back.

About the fish hook thing taking a lot of will, you mean drugs lol. Steve-O was absolutely loaded during this movie. He’s clean now which is really good. Us Jackass fans still want Bam to get there, as he’s struggled with substance abuse ever since Ryan Dunn died in a car accident in 2011 - RIP I actually grew up about 40 mins away from where Bam/Dunn lived in West Chester, PA. Skated at the same skate spots even, so Bam getting better means a lot to me 😢❤

Damn I forgot Jay Chandrasekhar was in this (the taxi drive at the end). If you haven't seen them yet, you boys need to watch some of his groups (Broken Lizard) movies. SuperTroopers, Beeriest, the Slammin' Salmon, and my favourite... Club Dread. The Dukes of Hazard movie they made is worth a watch too if you like them. It's a little weak, but overall still a fun movie.

Ehren was on an episode of Steve-O's podcast a few years ago and he said that he realized that the cab prank was a setup the moment they pitched it to him, but he realized it woukd be hilarious so he went along with it and acted like they did trick him. He did admit the beard was a surprise though

The silly pranks are my favorites, like the giant traffic cone in the first film and the switcheroo between Phil and Preston in this one. One of the really funny things about the latter prank was that Bam told Preston to try and grope April, but Preston couldn't bring himself to do it, so he just... kinda rubs her arm LOL.

Dude let me tell ya jackass is the best and most funniest comedy ever directed by Jeff tremaine and production of dickhouse productions there is nothing more interesting and hilarious of a comedy that is so much better that to me its a fan favorite and jackass I gotta say this is a keeper and a fan favorite that I’ll never forget and all the stuff they do in this show is amazingly enjoyable and marvelously entertaining and hilariously funny to watch again and again every day and it makes me so excited to see whenever it comes on tv and I just like to say it will never get old and thank you for all the great memories you gave me for this show I’m saying this to the company of it all but still it’s so worth watching

As for the cab prank, he knew it was a setup from the start, but he went along with it because he knew it would be a great bit. @OctoKrool i just rewatched your viewing of The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) and if you ever have the time i would recommend the 1975 version starring Richard Chamberlain, it is different enough from the 2002 movie that you wont see every twist coming and Richard Chamberlain plays Dantes/Monte Cristo in a brilliant way.

Yous guys would love Wild Boys series starring Steve-O and Chris Pontius. It's like a travel show where they go to exotic places and get nit by all kinds of animals. The fish hook and leech on the eye segments were actually filmed by the WildBoys crew.
