So as many of you will know, as we like to stay off grid as much as possible whilst travelling in our self converted campervan, have an emergency back up power source is absolutely vital. It offers peace of mind if for any reason our campervan electrical system fails.
The Jackery 500 is a mid sized power bank, sometimes called solar generator, that can be recharged several different ways, including solar, mains and via 12v. It's silent to run and small enough to be completely portable. A perfect power solution for anyone looking to get off grid or who is looking for a completely independent emergency back up.
As big fans of the Bluetti Poweroak AC50S we were delighted to be asked to review the Jackery equivalent, and, even more delighted when we said we would be doing a full comparison and Jackery sent us out the product, plus the fold out solar panels to really be able to compare the two.
