That was very interesting and quite a complex technique. Clearly the person grafting is very experienced and skilled. I noticed that you cut a 'ring' in the bark before cutting the 'whip and tongue graft', is that to concentrate the sugars above the ring and help the graft to take? We use 'bark ringing' on apple tree trunks to prevent sugars from returning to the trunk, but instead going to the fruit. We lean trees over at an angle for the same result - to sweeten the fruit. I have never seen 'ringing' and 'whip and tongue grafting' used together before. Thanks for uploading, a great result.

This is a good way to cut time for growing . I bought 1 & it died. I hv 1 small tree frm seeds n will try this method. Thank you so very much

I have done lots of grafting from my childhood as a hobby; I never seen a good method and very healthy plants as an outcome. The man is very skillful in the Job. Wishing you to have a wonderful future. Be Happy If possible I would like to buy some plants from you may be 10 for start. not in the pot, as you cut the grafted from mother plant. for easy transport and as bare-root little or no soil, may be coconut husk or similar.

Instead of plastic thread you can use cloth tape like thread.

actually, that's marcotting not grafting. grafting is when you cut a stem from mature tree and connect it to new growing plant and tie it. anyhow, good job. kudos
