I love that while she never shies away from standing up for Black women, she doesn’t put herself in a position of extreme vulnerability that people can try to exploit. I am obsessed with this interview. It is truly a love letter to both WOC and the make-up girlies. Thank you so much for splitting this interview into two segments. Part 1 was just Jackie dropping gems about life: be the friend that you want to have, don’t highlight what you don’t like about yourself so that it’s not used against you, be confident enough in what you offer to be able to take the risks that you want. But Part 2 is actually a masterclass in makeup. I love the discourse between two makeup professionals.

My own brother has been emotionally abusing me since he started to understand what it could do! So I have tried to do the same to him! I don't think it affects him! Hopefully I can get through to him soon!
