Jackie || Captain 

I'M SO GUTTED!! Jackie was the only sane one left while the others are slowly succumbing to the wilderness' darkness. She still had her humanity intact, I guess that's the only good thing to takeaway from her sudden death. It's so hard to picture the show without Ella Purnell being a main cast member. I'm so bitter. I'm also really going to miss the Jackie/Shauna dynamic. A big loss!

Literally died alone, and think about everyone's last words to her, and her last words to them.

RIP Jackie. She didn't deserve to go out that way.

The Jackie being the only civilized one take to me is unfair because a huge part of that is that she didn't... contribute. She didn't kill any animals, she didn't help prepare the animals for eating, she didn't help treat anyone's injuries, she didn't even help wash period rags. She said she didn't belong out here as though the others somehow did. And then she got on her high horse about what the others did while unknowingly ON SHROOMS. But she was trying. Everything she did wrong, she tried to fix later. She pulled Van out of the Cessna's path after leaving her to die on the plane. She helped with setting up for the doomcoming after being called out for not working. The real tragedy of Jackie is that she was a changing teenage girl who didn't get to apologize and grow. She didn't get to hit her stride in the wilderness and figure out what skills she could contribute and earn respect that way. In a real way, rather than through the act she was using in high school. It feels like that's part of why she clung to her queen bee mindset even though there were clearly more important things going on. She didn't get to apologize to Natalie for constantly slut shaming her or to Shauna for reading her diary and then telling everyone about her pregnancy in revenge. She didn't get to grow out of those things and learn how to communicate, instead of being passive aggressive the way so many teens are. From her past actions, we know she was capable of getting there. Instead she's literally and figuratively frozen in time.

In my opinion, his death makes us understand the sane and psychological level that everyone is at, that is, everything that the Others knew before the accident. She represents the human and civilized part, the only one that has not lost her mind, and when all or most of them take her out of the house, it implies that everyone takes out that part that makes them human, makes them good and takes them to madness and darkness. In the part when he sees Laura Lee and the man that I think is the one in the attic, I think that all the people who die there, their soul is trapped, that's why the man says that "we were waiting for you, it's good that you join us" That is what i think. The series is very good, I really liked it, I hope for the Second Season and hopefully the beautiful one (Ella Purnell) will continue to come out, even if it is in flashbacks or imaginations of others...♥️📺♥️ En mi opinión su muerte nos da entender el nivel Cuerdo y psicológico que estan todos es decir todo lo que conocian los Demás antes del accidente. Ella representa eso la parte humana y civilizada, la única que no perdio la cabeza, y cuando todos o la mayoría la saco a fuera de la casa, da a entender que todos sacan esa parte que los hace humanos, los hacé buenos y los lleva a la locura y oscuridad. En la parte cuando ve a Laura Lee y el hombre ese que creo que es el del ático, pienso yo qué toda las personas que mueren ahi su alma queda atrapada por eso el hombre dice eso "te estabamos esperando que bueno que te nos unas" eso es lo que pienso yo. Muy buena la serie me gusto mucho espero la Segunda Temporada y ojala siga saliendo la hermosa (Ella Purnell) aunque sea en flashbacks o imaginaciones de los demás... ♥️📺♥️
