His master was killed in a competition in the beginning of the movie. Jackie became a super fighter and vows revenge. The guy who killed his master felt so guilty he cut his leg off.So Jackie is mad that he can't get the revenge he wants. However there is a low bandit crew that trick Jackie chan into working for him bit poisoning his master's wife and saying they can "cure" her sickness. He becomes a hired goon for these bandits who say they have the cure.Once Jackie finds out the truth he kills all the bandits.This i would say the second best Jackie movie right after shaolins wooden men.
