It doesn't matter what the alleged result of voting on the show was - we all know in our hearts that on the night Jackie's performance was flawless, and on a wholly different level to the other competitors. She won all our hearts in her appearances on AGT, and is deservedly still loved today.

This is still stunning. "Ave Maria" is a song that resonates in my family, especially after my oldest sister suddenly passed away. I remember her singing this when I was just a young lad. This brought tears to my eyes.

I saw a short TV clip in which a neurologist has a theory regarding Miss Jackie Evancho and other talented people in sports and music; essentially he states that the talented person has roughly the same psychology as anyone else, the difference he noted is that such genus is instead attributed to the dedicated wiring or the neutrons which allow such talent to be singly devoted through extreme concentration of the mind to the vocal chords, muscles, etc. If true this 'theory' in no way detracts from Miss Jackie- she has to devote the work and effort to exert her skills for which I am most grateful.

I'm sure there are lots of people who said they never liked 'this kind' of music that now find themselves humming "O mio babbino caro" (from her first performance on AGT)... one of my favorite Sarah Brightman pieces, I have a new favorite singer - Jackie. Looking forward to her CDs and DVDs. Protect your voice, Jackie. It's priceless and you're precious.

What an amazing young lady Jackie Evancho is. Even though she must have been terribly disappointed she never showed it and was happy for Michael. She showed her regret for those who lost. She ended up second in some amazing adult talent even a professional. Here she is 10 year old and is as poised as any of the adults. I absolutely adore this girl and I can't wait until her first CD is out. I hope she will keep doing RU-vid updates because I want to keep enjoying her beautiful performances.

Jackie is truly amazing. Two of my granddaughters are within a year of Jackie, and they would all fit in together at the playground. Although Jackie is 'just' a 10-year old, when she begins to sing she is suddenly a much more mature young woman... her body posture, arm and hand gestures, and eye movements are those of a singer who appears to truly understand the music she is singing. She has a poise that is beyond her years. I look forward to listening to her sing for many years to come.

Pie Jesu was my favorite performance by Jackie during the AGT series. But she just absolutely nailed this one perfectly, too - and from her smile at the last Amen, she knew it too. If you haven't seen any of the interviews with Jackie, use RU-vid search with Jackie Evancho Interviews. One from a local Pittsburgh TV station and one from NBC. Both not only show her seriousness with music, they also capture her playfulness and bubbly enthusiasm - she is enjoying the moment to the fullest.

I love to read all these comments from people who say they know all about what real opera singers sound like and acuse Evancho of faking it. Faking what? It was proven she is not, or ever was lip syncing. It is fact that her singing voice is almost effortless. Could this be why the people that are into opera cannot come to grips with a ten year old outsinging them? For gods sake, she's only ten and you people are trying to compare her to 40 or 50 year old singers. Gimmy a break!

@autman123 Well that makes me feel better. Now we just have to deal with not seeing her on television for a while because she is just a delightful girl. As Nick says she always has the perfect thing to say. I was blown away by her performance with Sara Brightman. The way she is growing musically every time we see her she should be even more fantabuloso after the tour. Please keep us posted. Thanks for your incredible videos and for all of the information.

Yes I did I was waiting for someone else to notice it too. I noticed that something to her right distracted her.It was tech problems with their ear bud monitors. All the singers were ripping them off their heads all night long. Some loud sounds or hi pitch sounds were coming out causing a major distraction Again and again Jackie may look like little girl out there but, when something goes wrong or distract her, she bounces right back into action as any true professional will do.

I am a huge Jackie fan & could not believe she didn't win? Having not watched the AGT show, I didn't know who Michael Grimm was, so I looked him up on RU-vid. I now see how he could have won. But, Jackie Evancho will always be number one in my book.

It looks like more people are signing up at classical-crossover.co.uk ! Our little 8th Wonder of the World has now advanced to eighth place on the Classical Crossover chart. A BBC newscast had mentioned she is growing in popularity in Europe. Fantabuloso! We have until Dec. 31st to get her to the top before they reset the count and start over for 2011.

I saw one were the person said the same thing Jackie Is lip syncing! It also said it was removed because of so many negative comments! Thanks for the heads up I think I got rid of most of them, I did not flag any of these as spam maybe other users did it because they hate the RU-vid adds! I'm not sure were they came from!

Hi @SoocP1 The same thing happened last year Barbara Padilla's an opera singer lost to Kevin Skinner a country singer. He was just like Michael Grimm. Down and out soft spoken real nice guy, who lost his job as a chicken catcher. Opera is a hard thing to sell in this country. Jackie did a great job but most people listen & buy pop music not classical or opera. Only Neil Boyds beat the odds.Jackie & Michael will both do great. Being the winner is really no big deal, its just the way it is.
