I love listening to Jackie Perry. She is soo transparent and genuine. I thank God for All her teachings. I pray Father, God that You would continue to fill her with Your spirit as she fill us up with knowledge and help us to understand Your word better. I pray that we would understand exactly what You say in Your word. May we be not hearers only but doers also. I know that Your goal is for us to be Christlike. In Jesus name Amen.😮
I absolutely 💯% love the depths of conversations that are provoked from such a book 📖 title 😀 because it really opens us up to actually wholeheartedly examine our hearts, attitudes, and motives.
Dear Laurie, lovely interview, but simply meditating on God and His character does not transform anyone. Meditation MUST have legs put to the truth that one arrives at in that process OR else it's a heavy head and nothing to show for it. It us an emotional response, and emotions are unstable and temporary!!
Idolatry, as Jackie defines, is not FRIENDSHIP with alternatives, it is a ROMANCE, a LOVE, the HEART's ALLEGIANCE, ONENESS with alternatives that cannot be God.
PPl are always trying to stereotype 'catching the holy spirit' HE nor no one else can explain when the Holy spirit encounters a human and gives them unspeakable JOY aka a person 'jumping' around and getting happy.....that is none of OUR business nor can we judge it
Use them to praise God and help others. Thank him and do not desire the recognition of man for those things. No arrogance, God blesses you woth a fine singing voice, great, sing his praises, don't sing just to have people applaud and make an idol of you. Worship God, not the gift itself.
