Recovering Gambler here , 4 years clean now . I’ve actually hit that before but with an 8x multiplier . I remember the days of wasting my life away living in a casino . #1 They probably do have that much cash on hand #2 You probably wouldn't want that big of a payout in cash (if you don't own a Brinks truck) #3 You can always request any payout as a check 🙂
@@redips LOL! Nope. Taxes are your own responsibility if you are a US citizen. They will give you a W2G (and a copy to the IRS), but it's not up to the casino to decide if you can deduct your losses against or even exceeding that win.

@@redips Yes, they inform the IRS electronically (probably nightly.) And they can't give you the winnings if you can't show identification. They will hold the win for a short time if you need to leave the casino and bring your ID back with you. But if you want to be prepared, have ID with you any time you gamble. A little advice - if you manage to win that much, talk to an accountant. You may trigger owing quarterly estimated taxes. Too complicated to get into here. BTW, I do like the way you think: "in case I win ... or maybe more". Good luck!
