they're like closer than friends but far from lovers. I think their relationship was kind of roommate-crush and finally turns out to be close friend as Jackson said. I can see Joungji is really special to Jackson, that's why he got jealous when BamBam kissed her hand and he teased her everytime to get her attention.
It sucks that they most likely won't be together. I get that they're close and it seems like they'd be good together but Jackson is friendly with alot of females. Jackson is just a really good brotherly friend.
