i’m obsessed with how after they kissed for the first time whenever they got close to one another they couldn’t contain their desire for each other. i’m so in-love with this pairing
They didn't died, right? I haven't watch the series, the whole show is so long kinda hesitant plus from what I read most character died. I'm like 3 years older than this show, super super long time 😂

The show goes on for the best part of 10 seasons that jackson took April's V.. but wasnt that Alex. Alex and jackson have that bust up at Christina's house party for that very reason. Skip all their scenes
@@kat-5067 no they get divorced (due to grieving over their lost baby) but april found out they were having another baby before she signed the papers. april then ends up marrying the guy she left at the altar (matthew) who had a baby + whose wife died. she moves to be with him, and then jackson wants to move to boston a few seasons later, and goes to ask april if she'd consider moving too (so it'd be easier for harriet). she reveals that her + matthew split, so agrees, and its kind of implied that they get back together.
I know Grey's Anatomy was supposed to be the Meredith show, but Mark & Lexie and Jackson & April were the heart and soul of the show. Between Mark & Lexie dying and Jackson & April losing their son, I don't think I have ever cried so much. Even the death of Derek didn't have the same emotional pull. I stopped watching years ago. But I have kept an eye out and any time there is a guest appearance from Mark, Lexie, Jackson or April I make sure to watch.
Sorry but nothing hurts more than mcdreamy death, derek and meredith are the ultimate couple, but lovd japril though but everyone knows that the best arc story was the one from the firsts seasons
At first, their kisses were desperate, were passionate and hungry. By the middle they were sweet and loving and like the kisses you give to someone who you're willing to bare your whole self to. And that is what a true love story is.
Jackson is always picking her up but am i the only one impressed with the 1 arm pickup and carry in the bathroom scene? I dont blame April hunty!!! 😍🔥🔥🔥
That's pretty much what the show is alluding. They made April's relationship with Matthew fail for a reason. Be happy this is the closest to a happily ever you'll ever get on Grey's Anatomy.
Me too! But i notice lil things. @1846 when he was talking to Catherine and shifted his posture to stand tall and tell her April was the one...i just swoon!!!
@@angelariley3082 what i loved is that after season 14 they made Jackson a mess and him regretting his doings. Im thankful to th writers for giving us that 😭
one of my favorite couples on the show! i’m a new greys fan and honestly i’m not even caught up to the current season( i’m on season 9) but i love them so much already and they haven’t even really blossomed into much!
Jackson calling out April on her indecision from minute 13:12 to 13:50 was very much needed. I loved I loved together though but April was too indecisive with Jackson who clearly would have done anything for her.
We need to see more of April and Jackson. We should see more cross overs and appearances from them. We need to see a powerful couple that's in love. Being a Veteran, love it.
It’s crazy how much of a stranglehold this relationship had on me back when I was watching Greys Anatomy regularly 😂😂 so glad they finally ended up together
I can't believe they played with fan's heart so much. First they gave us an iconic love story. Then breaks them up and above that marries her off with mathew. And after April left, they again play with our hearts in season 15 where jackson regrets his choices and then in 17 where he talks about pushing the wife away and admitting not getting her over ever. But im glad and thankful that they gave them back to us. "Fingers crossed for new horizons" ✨
Why do writers have the “tradition” of giving us epic love stories just to break them apart like do they have any idea of the emotional damage they leave us with ? 😩
Biggest problem in their relationship is April keep brushing off how Jackson feel & his overall emotional/ mental situation. & just go do whatever April wants to do. That is so bad.
@@ameliavm30 yeah well he had to grow up a bit too, and be more upfront with his emotions feelings instead of expecting her to understand them. and always being one-deminsional/ giving mixed signals and never being clear about them. And it wasn't april job to play mind-reader.
@@nadirahofford3233 April went away to Jordan to help American soldiers. In other words, to get over her depression, she helped other people. The show pretended that Jackson didn't have hundreds of millions of dollars and he couldn't just fly to Jordan to see his wife. The show pretended that when Jackson missed his flight, there were no other flights. I would have been okay with them divorcing, but let it be because they had affairs, met other people, ala Christina and Owen, and Callie and Arizona.
I probably watched this a million times. Their personalities matches me and my boyfriend's. I'm very emotional and religious and he's cool and collective lol. The same way they started their relationship was the same way my boyfriend and I started our relationship
April and Jackson are really meant to be together. And the writers realized it that they had a happy ending. Their love for each other never faded away.
Omg just the way Jackson looks at April gives me goosebumps❤. I honestly believe they both had crushes on each other in real life. Just pay attention at every scene together!
hey i got to say somthing,,,when april and jackson were together i had a warm and great feeling just watching them,,i know its makebelieve,,but they were put together by the writers and it worked,,now that greys ,,who ever was the person who wanted them to break up,,spoiled it all,,the feeling igot is gone im sad ,,,but not for long,,there will always be a soap or a movie that can put me in lala land,,i have to laugh at my self,,but i just cant help getting into the mess,,thank you for posting this and others ,,;)
My thing is she told him give me a reason not to but he pushed her away so ugly. I feel like they should be together but he ruined her life she lost way more then him. He slept with many while she broke. 😢 April is my girl . I want a spin off on them of course with some of the hospitals hospital cast but of them being a Power couple avory taking over the company and them maybe having more kids . Idk i just loved them together.
The episode with the song "Chasing cars" is that meant to be a happy or sad episode or both? Cause I feel like when I eventually get to that episode that I'm gonna tear up/cry 🤷
I didn't watch Grey's but I saw enough scenes on tiktok to know that I wanted to learn more about these two so I watched this video. Still confused. She got engaged to Matthew----- left him at the altar, married Jackson...... then they divorced and she married Matthew.... and then got back together with Jackson? Please explain it to me like I'm 5. Thanks.
That's what happened, but I'll fill in details as to why. Some of it is in this video, so sorry for anything repetitive and that it's going to be a lot of information. Jackson and April were best friends that eventually ended up sleeping together, despite April's religious beliefs about waiting until marriage. They started a relationship afterwards but then she thought she might be pregnant. Jackson decided he was "all in" and wanted to marry her. When she found out she wasn't actually pregnant, she was so obviously relieved, he felt somewhat rejected. He tells her that this was a sign that they should stop sleeping together, because they really didn't have the same vision for their futures. She eventually gets with Matthew, and Jackson dates someone else. However, there's evidence that there's still love there. Jackson is injured in a fire saving a child, and April tells him that she wants him, and she won't get married if Jackson will give her a reason not to. Jackson can't do it right then, but later interrupts her wedding to Matthew, and declares his love. April leaves with him and they marry in Tahoe. They get pregnant with their son Samuel, but he's got a fatal birth defect and they lose him. April is devastated to the point that she goes overseas to work as a doctor. It's supposed to be for 3 months, but she extends it to a year. Jackson waits for her, but when she returns, she wants to go back again. He tells her that their relationship won't survive another tour of duty, but she's still grieving and doesn't listen and goes anyway. When she comes back again, she's finally healed and wants to resume their marriage, but he doesn't really want to. They go to marriage counseling, but he's just done and serves her with divorce papers. She finds out she's pregnant with their daughter Harriet the morning that she goes to sign the papers, but doesn't tell him, because she knows he'll stop the divorce for the baby, and April doesn't want that to be the reason Jackson stays. They end up co-parenting Harriet, and becoming friends again (with benefits a few times), but April eventually tells him she wants to stop, because it was hurting her. April sees Matthew again when his pregnant wife (Karen) is admitted to the hospital in labor and April ends up delivering their daughter Ruby. Afterward, she and Matthew have a discussion and she apologizes for leaving him at the altar. He tells her that what she did led him to Karen, who is the love of his life, so it worked out for both of them. (April doesn't tell Matthew that she and Jackson have already divorced.) Meanwhile, Karen develops severe complications after childbirth and dies (not because of anything April did). Months later, Matthew and April are brought into the ER due to being critically injured in a car accident. The audience finds out they are doing volunteer work together at rural clinics and have resumed dating. April nearly dies and Jackson is by her side the entire time praying (for the first time.) Matthew and April recover from their injuries and eventually marry. April leaves the hospital to work in the rural clinics (because the actress playing April was written off the show at that point.) A few years later, we see Jackson go to April & Matthew's home. Only April is there, and she tells Jackson that Matthew and Ruby are away at the time visiting Matthew's sister. Jackson tells April he is moving to Boston to take over his family's "Foundation" that supports medical innovations. Jackson doesn't want to miss any time with Harriet, so he asks April if she and Matthew would consider moving to Boston also. Jackson promises that the Foundation will employ them, and they can continue to do their work at rural clinics in the Boston area. Eventually, April confesses to Jackson that she and Matthew have actually split up. She then tells Jackson, that she and Harriet will move to Boston. A year later, Jackson and April are back in Seattle with their daughter visiting the hospital where they used to work. April is talking with Amelia, who's depressed due to her recent breakup. April asks Amelia "Are you sure it's over? Sometimes love comes back around". The audience then knows "Japril" are back together, and the final scene is them kissing in the hospital elevator.
@@kda61 I truly appreciate the time and effort you spent explaining this!!! I care about their relationship but don't want to watch so many seasons--- I'm enjoying just catching clips on tik tok all out of order. :) This pulls it all together for me--- many thank yous!
@@heatheramyprice No problem. My daughter (who's name is also Heather) got me watching the show with her. I started during the in the middle seasons and I would have to ask her questions about some of the characters and storylines. Eventually, I did go back and watch from the beginning one time (and it took several months to get through it all), so I understand not wanting to watch all the seasons. This couple is my favorite of all the GA couples. Even though the writers broke them up several years before, both actors shipped Japril together and knew fans did too. They pitched for their characters to be endgame (even if it's offscreen) and convinced someone of it apparently, the fans wouldn't have gotten it otherwise. So thanks to Sarah Drew and Jesse Williams for giving the fans what they had been hoping for.
They are moving to boston together in season 17 and april and mathew have split up. Since Jackson was regretting pushing away and the way he was a mess after april left.. They are ENDGAME in Boston 💕
I've never watched this show. Cute couple, chemistry and all that. Her metaphor about it being good until you feel bloated and gassy is funny. I don't ever think I've heard a relationship be described quite that way before.
