What is the use of Bidirectional mapping then if we have to use @JsonBackReference at last for managing infinite case? As in the example we will not be able to fetch book details from author table right

@LearnCodeWithDurgesh many of us are confused on how to get Book details using author id similarly that we get author from book id. what's the purpose of bi directional mapping if we are not going to use it. Sir kindly make a video on it as well.

What is the real life use of Bidirectional relationships, You didn't show us that how we can fetch the information from author to book. By using these two annotation we can get rid of infinite loop, But at the same time we also want the purpose of Bidirectional Relationships. Please tell us how we can fetch information of book from author????? Thanks in Advance

to fetch data from multiple tables simple create DATABASE view in that use joins and create entity of that view that's it

When we work on big project mostly we use it ... suppose you have cart and cart can have multiple item ... Evey table has unique I'd so that we can go back

Hi Durgesh, it's really valuable content, but I have small doubt, u said it's bidirectional when we search using id and if Author has its respective book, then how we can use in real case project(how its actual useful in project) ? can you please elaborate that.

Not sure if u r monitoring the thread, if so can you plz address this. What if the author has another object (say, Language language) then author will be child of book and parent of language in which case author will have both JsonManagedReference and JsonBackReference. Will it create ambiguity or is there a way to let the compiler know for book it is JsonManagedReference and for language it is JsonBackReference?

Really awesome bro... No where i have got these stuff really... ur great bro... But when i am trying to give first author details from postman ,again i am giving book details from postman with same given author id... i am getting additional values in author table ... and in the book table author-id is getting increment .... Does it mean first i have too give inversely but in real world scenarios ... user first register and if he add his card details... does it satisfy the condition.. ..

same question. If we have done bi-direction mapping, then ideally by calling Book GET, we should get Author details. and by calling Author API, we should get Book details, but its not working.

What if i want both ways. Like we get got book and its author like (localhost:8080/books/8). Similarly I need author and its book. (localhost:8080/author/2). But i only get author json without book.
