Nice to see him singing Somebody's Baby without having to look at that girl from the movie. I used to think of myself.

Jackson Browne Vocals Guitar, Piano, Danny "Kootch" Kortchmar Guitar, Russ Kunkel Drums, Rick Vito Guitar Backing Vocals, Bob Glaub Bass, Doug Haywood. Organ, Backing Vocals Craig Doerge Keyboards (Danny, Russ and Craig were 3/4 of " The Section" famous recording and touring band... Leland Sklar was the bass on The Section and played with the other 3 on Jackson's Running On Empty album and several others) Best band wit David Lindley ever to play with Jackson!

Yes I'm speaking now I would like to have a reply this is John Baker I like to comment on this particular song ❤️ it's really one of the most insightful poetically insightful listen to Howard Street it speaks to you listeners and thinking that we are constructed of white get it right light light not right that has been lost with them us getitright nahcolite not right now. No light no problem we are made from the light that's lost within us how did any one know that in 1982 and somehow he knew and more than some of us trade that bright but fragile glow for what because many more of us because of Jackson Brown's insight s they end up trading it for the glitter and the rouge or paint. Wow

Besides Running On Empty, on what other Jackson Browne album or albums did Sklar, Kortchmar, Doerge, and Kunkel all play (remember, Kotchmar did not play on any Jackson Browne albums before Running On Empty)?

Anyone know the make of guitar that Rick Vito is playing? It looks like a telecaster, but it’s not as the head has a different name than a Fender
@fretbuzz6893
@fretbuzz6893 Год назад
could be a Fender Deluxe Nashville Tele, that has same/similar head. But I can't say I've seen one with a Wammy bar. I know Rick uses Reverend Guitars so it could be one of those, neck/head footage isn't good enough to really suss out what it is Reverend normally has an 'R' in a circle, I'm just not sure enough to confirm make.

@@fretbuzz6893 Reverend was founded in 1997. This was 1982. Here is a video of the set up and some practice in Los Angeles for the European (mostly) tour that this venue date was part of. You can see various guitars used by Vito and Kortchmar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KDquZ4xg8uw.html

These guys modified many guitars so surface markings may be different .You had to see them play it in person to get a better idea@@fretbuzz6893
