£1,850 for a Korean-made guitar? I’m glad I bought 30 guitars over the last 6 or 7 years because prices now are ridiculous. I bought a brand new Korean made Schecter with Seymour Duncan pickups, Hipshot bridge, locking tuners, multi-piece maple / walnut neck and ebony fretboard for £315 about 5 or 6 years ago. It was a hard tail but even if you add another £150 for that, it’s less than a quarter the price of these. Your pricing seems way out of whack on these too. The SL model is only £1,487 in European guitar shops - how come you’re asking for 24% more?
IMO these are spec'd out better than the USA makes soloist. I'm waiting for the second round of releases from the USA series to see if Jackson has changed anything. Plus Dagan is a beast of a player!
That power chordy riff in the middle of the dirty tone demo at 6:15 is on the tip of my tongue, as is the riff after it and I can’t place them. It’s driving me nuts.
Getting mine tomorrow. How are they trying to sell the new soloist for 600 more dollars with a 1500 series floyd. Oh, yeah, built in South Korea. Sign me up for 2k less $. I might change the neck pickup with a duncan jb, i didn't buy this for blues. Maybe it'll grow on me, we'll see.
