Love this! Wouldn't it be crazy if we had like an Allstar Tuba Battle? Each section can have their best 30 players who marched anywhere from 2000-2020. Everyone gets 4 Fanfares. At the end of the battle one big mass performance of the fanfares most schools have played. It would sound like the ground is moving having so many great players and chords so thick. Hey anything could happen. What yall think?
What’s crazy is I still watch this consistently like it’s my first time hearing it and I still get the same excitement. These boys solid! I honestly think they eat/sleep/shit all together cause the chemistry was and still is there
The impressive thing is......there are 24 Sousaphones!! Our HS Band of 210 members had 6 lol. Now those 6 were damn good BUT, if we would have had another 4-11....wow lol. I can't even remember how many we had in College but, it was probably around 10-15 since we were a small College and our Marching Band was probably around same size as the HS Marching Band. I was a member of the Low Brass family myself (Baritone), except the 2 years in HS and 2 in College when I was Head Drum Major. I wish we had those Marching Baritones back in the day....they would have been a blast to play! Fantastic Sousaphone playing!!

Being a freshman has nothing to do with having the ability to play your instruments. These young men and women put in the work everyday to make sure their sounds on the horn improves. They are all grown. 😂😂 I like how the old heads yelling they’re freshman, they are freshman. Okay and?🤔 I was a freshman tuba player, and I was section leader. My FRESHMAN YEAR. So at the end of the day. The year you start playing doesn’t make the tuba player. It’s how you play. Let that sink in your mind.
