He did everything for the Swac and Jackson. This man donated portions of his own salary to build up that school. What have you all done for these schools but put this man on a pedestal as savior for all HBCU’s. Let this Black man coach at the next level and elevate the paradigm like he did the Swac.
Plus did they offer to increase His & the Staff’s salary. He kept saying the Staff needed to be paid correctly. He already knew it wouldn’t be P5 but at least show they appreciate the work. Example: Everytime a P5 Coach win 7 or more games they get lucrative bonuses or upgraded Contracts. The fact that the estimated +60 million to city of Jackson in 2 yrs timeframe because of all the increased attendance, but none was shared with the teams that helped this to transpire. Who holding that bag up is the question?
@@salliedavis0420 I knew that the truth going to come out Debra Clayton everyone mad at him I know it wasn't the money for him but they could have at least paid the staff and they could have shared the wealth, I'm still waiting on the JSU administration to make a statement.
Congrats to Coach Prime and his family. Coach Prime and JSU benefited from the past few years. Well off Media provide more behind the scenes exposure of a coach's family than maybe any other college coach. If the rest of the family joins Coach Prime at Colorado , I hope that continues. I especially enjoy the interaction w/ Shilo. Thanks Well Off Media
Bittersweet, not the overall story ending I hoped for but Im truly Tiger proud! #JSU 2x back to back undefeated SWAC seasons, 2x back to back SWAC champs, 1st time undefeated overall season...historic 12-0! CB...you up next! #THEE Thank you to everyone with a hand in creating history! AD Rob, Coach Prime, Tigers Coaches, Players, Staff, etc. 🐅🏈🔥🐅🏈🔥🐅🏈🔥🐅 Many thanks to #THEE JSU visionary, AD Ashley Robinson for all you have done and are doing still! Appreciate you AD Rob and Looking forward to #THEE next!
Coach Prime got Jackson State a new field house, and new practice field, under armor sponsorship, and the best record in school history. Just be grateful and move on.
Not the field house. They broke ground for that in 2019. COVID delayed the construction. But he did donate money to add the TV's, arcade games, & furniture for the lounge area and other amenities.
Indeed! We can especially if we don't stop believing in ourselves just because Coach Prime isn't here. He didn't drill that in our culture for us to just to forget it when he isn't present. We can have various opinions or feelings about it all and that's perfectly fine BUT it's on us now to move forward the successful mindset and actions that Coach Prime laid down. What we gonna do...talk about it or be about it! I believe in #THEE
Need another Former Blk NFL player to coach them say umm..Charles Woodson, maybe even Can newton someone who can recruit and relate to the youth..ED Reed..so many qualified.
@@andredotson4677 couldn't agree more... He did it throughout his NFL career as well. There's no denying he was great, and is a good coach, but there's no allegiance anywhere.
My encouragement to JSU is to remember what Coach Prime taught you and leave it on the field. The foot ball is the same . The field is the same . The football game is the same . The only difference is you will have different Coach . Just Grace him with the same love and respect as you did Coach Prime . Nothing change just continue to play the game to win and keep that New mindset you all have . The only thing JSU has to prove is bring the A game to the field .
Certainly not going to get that at CU 😂...but I understand when you get an opportunity you can't pass up. I'm still going to support HBCU football though.
There's a definitely a difference in the energy when you watch this...makes me a bit sad. Shilo didn't play and then Travis didn't even finish the game-did he get hurt? Are Shilo, Travis or even Shedeur playing in Atlanta? I just felt bad for the team...they've just had an undefeated season and repeated as SWAC Champs but they can't even celebrate or enjoy it. :( The team & coaches should be proud-they had a legendary season!! I wish Coach Prime and his family nothing but the best in Colorado!!
Thanks Deion, appreciate your hard work behind the camera as usual. Keep giving us that contagious laugh😊. I hope a few of Coach Primes players can follow him to Colorado. Cam has been with him and Sheduer since High School so I definitely want to see him go with. I already see Coach Hart was rolling! I couldn't really see the other guys on the tour, not sure if they were coaches or not but the more people that Coach Prime have with him that he's already locked in with the better. 💪🏽 Sheduer almost knocked the ref's head off with that throw into the inzone🤩🔥🏈💪🏽
Congrats coach prime, I can feel the change that’s coming there in Colorado , when it’s quiet 🤫 those guys are listening, love your leadership, stay blessed
Dear Well Off Media/Deion Sanders Jr.: I just wanted to take out a few minutes of my day, to, simply tell you…THANK YOU! I understand this makes you money and all; however, your coverage(s) have been…THE BEST, so, the $$ are well deserved…in my humble opinion. Thank you, for, the laughs, the in your face up close & personal speeches, of, your dad, Coach Prime! (They’ve Blessed Me) I am happy for ALL OF YOU, and, truly appreciate you giving, us, the world, such detailed and intimate moments! May, Jehovah YAH, continue to bless the entire team, staff, and, coaches of JSU. May they always remember what your dad, Coach Prime, brought to them, taught them; moreover, left with them. Lastly, I pray, as you all embark on this new journey with, Colorado & your dad; I hope, YAH, continues to Grace you all to be able to do even greater things to come, from, you recording in bigger ways, to, Coach Prime coaching his career well into the NFL and ultimately to a, “PRIME TIME,” Super Bowl. 🙏🏽 I pray you receive this & achieve even greater and greater, from faith to faith & glory to glory! Thank you & God Bless! Respectfully, CT
@@CREATEDBYDUSTINTODUSTYOURETURN But, YOU DID, along with 14 others, I was simply expressing gratitude. So, he doesn’t see, ok, maybe someone else will and somehow it gets back to him TO READ it, then what! Whether he reads it or not, I said what I said and I’m 10 down on it! Please take your misery elsewhere, negativity is not my frequency.
@@briteslider new? How tf am I new. 1st of all this is public platform I can say wtf I want and speak on wtf I want. Nigga I'm grown. I'm proud of what coach prime has done for MY SCHOOL AND MY CITY. I just wished he would have stayed a bit more longer. At least until Shedeur graduates. But bro go focus on sum other shit. U acting like cant nobody speak they mind on here. Wtf really going on dawg?
The energy is NOT the same. Respectfully, the team just won the championship. They couldn’t even enjoy the moment before the announcement was made. #2 is already in a previous video with a Colorado hat on but he is supposed to be playing with JSU at the celebration bowl. This could have been handled better. Of course, we all wish Coach Prime and crew the best. I dont think JSU tried to offer him enough to stay. Something feels off about this.
Facts, they should have been o the phone all day everyday coming up with that money for prime, but you still expect them to play for you. You gone b4 it end. No body going to Colorado. You’ve lost their trust. He plan on taking the entire team with him.
One thing prime will learn is the facilities, money and resources will not compare to the culture and how much them people showed Deion love. The pwi all happy now but soon as he won’t produce they’ll kiss his ass to the curb.
I think Deion knows if he don't win he won't be around long, but that's life as a coach period!! I wish him and everyone going with him the best of luck!!
Shit coach prime has a Guaranteed check Colorado literally gave him a fresh start to begin with and don’t forget coach prime is his job it what he does so even if this comes to a end he will still make many more moves mural of the story stop looking for the outcome and just support the kids coach prime can’t do it on his own
With coach prime gone we about to see what HBCU’s are really worth. Prime exposed how weak HBCU football programs are in such a short time. He came in and took over instantly like no other team knew what hard work was. I’m very interested to see if HBCU’s can keep the hype going now or fall soon as Deion leaves
Unfortunately, the likelihood of failure is much higher due to how short-lived the hype has been. Two years is simply not enough time to really shed light on what HBCUs could be.
Some of y'all just dont see the plan. Stop calling this man to sell out and see the bigger picture. We bring each other down so much they don't even have to do anything anymore
I wish Coach Prime could keep the guys altogether. That would be a HUGE game-changer. They have come along way. Leave Miller, though. He has to change his behavior.
Much respect to Prime and his character as a man but the reason he is successful is because GOD chose him to help these young people and show them a better way and the way he recognizes this and gives the glory and praise where it is due is why he will CONTINUE to be a great example and successful wherever GOD takes him. One Love Prime 💯#DC4L
If you think about it, Coach Prime was the living environment of a Deus ex Machina for JSU. He dropped in, built a winning culture for the team, helped them get towards their first undefeated season, helped them get facilities the school could only dream of before, then, like birds in the night, flew away, called to help another struggling school achieve what he did in JSU Must've felt a dream they never want to wake up from, for the people that came to work under Coach Prime these past two years
I can only imagine the tension & emotions that these players feeling. Just won a championship & can’t even truly enjoy it. Then have a game in two weeks knowing ur coach leaving. I can only suspect that team morale is going to be DOWNNNN.
Surprisingly, he gets his footage by using an iPhone. Makes me think it’s the editing software that enhances the clarity. Either way, I agree with you that it’s amazing.
Nice to see a bunch of my old highschool classmates/teammates playing. Trevonte Rucker #15 (JacksonState) Tyvanshay Farmer (Southern) Jordan Monroe (Southern) Markheem Glover (Southern) #VanguardHighSchool
Black folks support your HBCUs, that’s the message. Don’t let that man’s exit be the end all, be all. Those white folks got him. Let that man go, that’s what he want to do.
@@briteslider 42 years old full grown man just didn't like what Prime did to the kids at Jackson State University sir I respect his decision but he clearly went for the money and it was all about the money that's my opinion but anyway what goes around comes around.
But frfr if I was a high school 5 star committed to jsu I ll .decommit ..go to Colorado.. not cause of prime but dam that campus is fire...oooo weee..I love theee...Salute to deion..I was on morland ave this man had a deion Atlanta falcons jersey got to get that for Christmas..Atlanta was deion first home...salute deion ...much love....
He was suspended for some type of misconduct. Reports say he’s not to happy because he liked Jackson state. I think he might stay because if he leaves, he has to sit a year.
I don't think Shilo is as committed to game preparation as he should compared to his other teammates. His playing time has been reflective of that ever since he came back. According to coach, no one in his family knew of his decision prior to the team meeting after the game.
No, Coach Prime was not wrong for leaving. Coach Prime is a Godly man and I truly believe that everything he does he does it with a big heart, he prays about it & he trust that God is in control.
Who is pac if I'm not pac..naw deion gonna make sure JSU good. Trust..it's like if you a supervisor at a job promote you to more money opportunities come on. You mean to tell me you gonna say no...prime is a goat..he ain't worry bout money at all.. it is what you see..this man had a undefeated season..time for him to help another suffering program..
He was lead by God to help Jackson, Ms. as well as the university and he did. The university hired a coach but Coach Prime brought to the school and community a father figure, leader, and philanthropist. The team made history, the city got exposure, and they will forever remember this moment. Thank you, Coach Prime!🙏🏽❤🙏🏽
We can never stick to the script... what coach was doing at JSU was groundbreaking but in the end we always make the selfish decision it seems. I was hoping this time it would be different.
He did stick to the script. Please educate yourself before trying to drag him down. Look at the 60 minutes interview from a few years back. He said he wanted to highlight hbcu's. He said we would entertain a power 5 school if they offered so he can help other as well. He can do a lot more with more resources plus laying the way for others to go coach at hbcu's. We have to start supporting each other before jumping to conclusions
I agree it's definitely not the same already but congratulations JSU winning your game , good job !! You guys are winners, just keep praying and being strong you guys got this !!! 🥰🙏🏽💙❤🤍
I’m from CO. Yes they have blk culture, food, and everything else. The demographic is small but growing. CO is nice, and once recruits come and see it, they’ll like it. It’s a beautiful city.
Buncha bootlickers in these comments. No one's mad he's leaving for a more prestigious job. They're mad because he had all this talk about valuing HBCU's and wanting to build a lasting impact for black student-athletes only to jump ship at the first decent D1 job. Stop blindly believing in this man.
Used the players to give the players an NFL chance? These SWAC players are household names now. I'm tired of these butthurt people. Y'all act like Prime hasn't been saying for 2 years that he'd be stupid not to go to a Power 5 school. JSU wasn't even his first choice.
@@lexibrowning7447 athletes also would be stupid not to go to a power 5 school But them athletes got batted to the lies that it can be done at an hbcu school That’s my problem
Question did Jackson state win the championship or what I'm not big into football and are they in the same class as the big schools or is that like another division
He did a good job with JSU but it’s gonna be a different story in real division one. He’s bringing some of his players from where he just came from but how are they gonna play against the best in the land. I think the first year or two the buffs will be ok. Nothin special and maybe not even a winning record. They will compete and beat the weaker teams on their schedule. It will be a couple years before they are ready for top teams in the country. I’m surprised at how many Colorado players are going into the portal. They did have a good freshman quarterback but for dion to say his boys playing over him is quite crazy. Dudes a juco quarterback. It will be different in division 1. I believe he ran off some good players and some cancer as well. I guess we will soon find out what’s going to happen.
