Here is a close up video of my 2008 USA Jackson Custom Shop Rhoads RR1T with reverse headstock and chevron inlays in black. I bought the guitar from Matt Tuck from Bullet for My Valentine. It is not his signature model but his personal custom shop order. You can see him playing this guitar in the video to Waking the Demon by Bullet for My Valentine.

You have it. You have my DREAM guitar. I would love the Matt Tuck signature as that’s my number 1 most sought after guitar, but this is my DREAM guitar, and you actually have it. The one and only guitar from Waking the Demon that made Jackson my favorite company since I was 15. The guitar that made me want to play a RR, and what made it my favorite shape/model. It was this music video that made me want to play guitar period and hooked on metal. If I were to ever be one of those people to start a gofundme page, this would be what it’s for. I would sell all my guitars (except one special one) if it meant I got my hands on this. And you have it. If there were ever a time for the stars to align and let me win some money, now would be the time. Some time ago when I had a good chunk of disposable income I was searching high and low on the internet for one of his import models for sale. When that failed I had actually tried contacting Matt via twitter to see if he had this exact guitar to see if he had it and was interested in selling it. No answer, clearly. Wow man. This is truly incredible. Words can’t describe how happy I am to see an up-close HD video of this guitar. It damn near brings me to tears. I salute you, truly.

Honestly you could just get this exact guitar custom made with the same specs. You could even change a few things to your liking. I literally spent YEARS searching for a Matt Tuck Jackson custom and I finally got one. However, while it was a BEAUTIFUL GUITAR and plays amazing, it had some things I didn't like (22 frets, thicker nut width as I am used to the small 42mm EPS widths vs jackson @ 42.8mm width), and sold it 3 days after getting it. I now have my OWN custom guitar I have designed and looking to build that has EVERYTHING I want. Honestly, if you love this guitar, get it built and then you have a NEW one.

@@liammcknight3845 My tastes have changed since I originally left this comment, and I now gravitate towards 24-fret, locking tremolo guitars, still Jackson V’s though. Also since I posted this comment, I did finally get my hands on an import version in like summer of 2021, and it’s every bit as comfortable as I hoped it would. It was some time after getting it my preferences changed, though lately it’s been getting a lot of playtime since I set it up for stuff I’ve been learning in drop B. If I dropped the money on a custom shop it would definitely cater to my current tastes, the guitar in this video is pure nostalgia and deep meaning. For me, I don’t think it would be the same if I got a replica.

@@OxfordGuitars Beautiful! I always wanted this guitar when I was younger. I would probably find and get one if it wasn't for the 22 frets as I don't like less than 24. I was wondering, The Matt Tuck Signature black has a Silver Bezel around it but this is all black and looks even better. Was this another one of his signatures? Or was it made specifically for the Waking the Demon video and only one made?

This one is a USA custom shop one of made for Matt. And his signature was based on this very guitar with some small changes like locking tuners, black binding, different colour bevels and two pots instead of three, and it was made in Japan.

@@OxfordGuitars biggest change to me is the fact his signature don't have the neck binding. Like wtf?! My cheap ass rrjs32 has neck binding ! Lol love my matt tuck jackson but I really wish they had added binding around the neck.

@@aleczandermott8071 the signature has the binding as well, but it's black instead of white. Look closely and you'll see it.
