great playing.. this guitar sound like entertain.. like you know so much fun, not bored at all... i just bought it last week and it sounds awesome. The dinky sounds awesome in every youtube video i saw, and it is like everyone says, the pickups sound unbelievable good.

Forgot to mention, I bought a similar guitar when I was first learning to play, it was from AMS or Musician's Friend. It was a Jackson Dinky. I loved the guitar, but it had a ding in it. Not anything too horrible. But for some reason it bothered me. Instead of asking for them to refund some of the $ spent I just sent the guitar back. They sold out of this particular model & it didn't come back into stock for 6 months or so. I ended up buying a Strat. I was young & stupid, wanted my real first guitar to look pristine. To this day I still think about that guitar & kick myself for not keeping it.

I don't get why you couldn't take this guitar to a function or a pop/jazz/country gig..(sound aside). It's a 80's metal throwback, only for the people who knows it.. . And it's not pitch black, with crosses, bones, splattered blood, etc.. On it.. It's a standard shape, not some crazy aggressive shape, and it's colorful. Only aggressive, but wonderful, feature it's the pointy reverse headstock, and the sharkfin inlays.

I just got one of these today and I really like it. The pickups are far better than I expected and I don't think I'll be changing them. I would really like to know what their specs are though. All I know is that they're made by Belcat.

I felt the same. I presumed that the first thing I would do would be to change them, but they sound really good.

@@xonnathagreat7644 no mate. That’s literally out of t(e box. I did stretch t(e strings out, but nothing else. I’d live to put a paf promin the bridge though 🎸🎶

Im about to buy this or a soloist sl, do you think i should go for the soloist? I love It more but i think this one has More the "strat sound" cause the single coils, all my others guitars has humbuckers

Hi Don ....thanks for watching. That s AmpliTube 5 , a really good sounding plugin. I use a Focusrite preamp and Warm audio compressor.

So these are not the standard high output Jackson pickups? I like the Standard ones, Have always liked Jackson pick ups, back in the early 80s I remember guys actually sought out Jackson pickups and put them in all makes of guitars to hot rod them...
