I can get why she's angry it took so long, but most people haven't rebuilt in New Orleans from Katrina. She's incredibly lucky anything was built at all.

I am sorry this video did not capture the full extent of my story. Since 2017 I have slept inside a travel trailer in my driveway just so I could be in the A/C and not get eaten alive by mosquitoes, snakes, etc. I had to use my insurance $ to buy that travel trailer. FEMA/Government restrictions and an Insurance company that would not pay a claim kept me from repairing and rebuilding the home I paid for. I had to shower, cook and wash clothes inside my flooded and collapsed home which had been gutted right after the storm, leaving me exposed to the wild animals and heat with no full-size appliances and no A/C. I had to cook like I was camping as all my cabinets and appliances flooded and the ones I did buy did not hold up in an unairconditioned home. I was living like I lived in a 3rd world county even though I had paid for my home, paid my insurance premiums, paid my property taxes and I was told the Rebuild Florida program was here to fill in the GAP for what the Government was telling me I had to do and what my insurance refused to do. Not too mention all the storms over the past 7 years that I had to sit inside my collapsed home and pray that I would not be killed. Please send me your email and I will send you pictures of how I "survived" the last 7 years waiting on the government. P.S. If you are a tax-paying American your taxes went to pay IEM, the contractor hired by the DOC who took 4 years and 4 months just to process my application, hundreds of people were paid Millions to do work that was never done over this time. I can send you the website of the states financials if you would like to see how much IEM was paid.
