Fun fact: the subscriber LizardLava actually made a video saying he regrets selling the play button but won't try to buy it back because it officially is bought and therefore owned by Jack. No "undoing" a deal.
@@tyroberts9520some celebrities refuse to sign anything because they know too many people get autographs just to resell it. So on the rare occasions that those celebrities sign something they personalize it with a specific name or message to reduce the chance of it being resold.
at least we know the button is (currently) in good hands. thank god it didn't end up in some oligarch's private collection, never to see the light of day again
What a lot of people don’t know if when you’re account hits “x” play button mile stone, you can order more than 1 they just charge you a bit for a second or third etc
huge props to jack, saying he'll be giving it back if pewds asked for it. despite it being purchased from a subscriber i still believe the play button belongs to pewds. he earned it!
@@chiefruckus3831 It's still does. RU-vid themself gave it to Pewdiepie. He just gave it away and someone else sold it. On paper legally since RU-vid gave it to Pewdiepie it legally belongs to him. He just didn't want it. It's like like giving away an oscar. It's yours, it was given to you. If you give it away that means it don't have it, it's not yours. But legally you still own that oscar it doesn't mean that someone else owns your achievement they just have something that represented it.
@@RegressorJin The achievement is his but the award isn't. When he gifted the subscriber the award it legally became their property. "The truth of the matter is that in law, we execute a deed of gift whatever a party wants to give another party something. In this sense, the ownership of the gift item transfers from the giver (Donor) to the receiver (Donee). Therefore, it can not be revoked, resigned, or retrieved."
@@RegressorJinimagine you are giving a friend of yours a gift and that gift is hand made. Now your friend decides to sell it and he made 10 bucks from it and u r disappointed at him. When u gifted the gift to him, it was still urs and despite it being gifted to him, its still technically under your ownership legally but its simply immoral to consider it to be urs once u gifted something away. Now as ur friend sold ur gift, and u rightfully consented ur friend to be the new owner when u gave him the gift, he had the right to sell it and hence both of u r no longer the owner and the person he sold it to, is now the new owner. Thats basically what the situation is rn
Oh my God that’s Josh… that took me a hot minute to recognize him. Used to be my favorite RU-vidr but I just kinda stopped watching him a few years ago and haven’t seen him in forever. He straight up looks like a different person, the only reason I knew it was him was cus of his voice 💀 Jelly still looks like a five year old in a high schoolers body tho
Jack is just the unpaid storage person for all of the youtubers who's play buttons he has in possession. Oh! You want it back now? Here ya go! Lemme know if i can buy it back from you so I store it for you again! 🤣
I have been a jelly Jordi and Josh fan since 2015 or 16 And I just found out he has a podcast with Josh 😂 👍 I stopped watching slowly after Jordi parted ways with Josh and jelly
If you did give him it back you’d be daft, specially after you payed for it.. “I won’t reveal how much coz it will effect the value in future sales… will give pewdiepie it back for free”
So he bought it off a poor person for an extremely cheap price Which is why he doesn’t want to reveal the price One because it’s low price may lower his sell price And also because he would get backlash
I mean I'd ask for the amount I bought if for back because he has the money if he somehow went broke somehow well then I'd rope him into a video for it back but that's a nightmare scenario though if our bro pewds is broke

Lmao somebody who says they dont want to disclose what they bought something for in fear of effecting the sale price means they bought it for stupid cheap and dont wanna resell it for cheap lol
And if you have it and you don't give it back to PewDiePie when he ask for it which he wouldn't we the fans would have a little talk with your channel 😂
Sure they should. They are just things. We don't need all the crap we all hoard. When you get a gift it's yours you can sell it if you want. It's just a crusty old play button that symbolizes he was popular big woopedy doo.
