There is something so viscerally melancholic and nostalgic about this song. Every time I listen, I'm swallowed up by regret, sadness, guilt, memory, and also beauty. I feel so many things, heavy and light. I also feel a longing for home, wherever that may be.

I grew up in a house full of music. As my dad got older I asked him what was his favourite song of all time. I expected him to name an Elvis or Queen song as he liked rock mostly. But he said Fleetwood Mac-Albatross. I played it at his funeral. I think I just found my favourite song. I can’t wait to meet him again but I know I have to be a man now for my own family. ❤

I can only listen to this song when my heart has sunken and my soul is tired. It's dark, so so dark, but I come back to it. My spotify wrapped literally got messed up for having it on repeat for so many hours. More than 1000 hours.. It was because my grandma died on July 11th and it was somehow the only song that I could listen to for hours upon hours. I'm glad I found this loop. I don't want to be confronted by my wrapped again :/ Idk why but I needed this song to mourn and it helped me get out of that dark hole alive. Dear grandma, I'm still fighting, don't you worry.
