the fact that jacob improvised the spit on bo after beating him up makes the scene even more badass. It fit so perfectly with the disrepect.

He's a great actor. He can make both Eli and Hawk so different and you feel like you are watching two separate people. Almost like how Christopher Reeve could play both Superman and Clark Kent and you believe him in both characters.

Awesome interview man Jacob is such an upbeat dude I have been such a fan of karate kid since the 80s and remember looking forward to cobra kai. I thought it was just going to be a quick money grab and only fans of the Karate Kid would like it. How wrong i was and I obviously didn't do my homework on the writers etc This show I think has exceeded all our expectations. The arcs are amazing and the actors all do a superb job.

Jacob is so dope man. I love the way he plays Eli,/Hawk. Homie can definitely be a lead in a series, movie or something. I expect great things from this young man. Also Hawk is the best character on Cobra Kai

Eli/Hawk is my favorite character in Cobra Kai. He reminds me of my younger self. I was bullied and became quite the hellraiser, then I started to soften up and gain discipline. Now I'm a very different person. I honestly look back and remember the way I used to be and it's legit like I'm remembering things someone else did. He's just such a real character for me. This is a really great interview. Thank you both for this. Stay safe and healthy out there.

I feel like that is what really makes a great show or movie, when writers are open to the ideas of others. ALL the actors and actresses and the writers of course are just totally amazing.
