This guy is like a gravitational force to which all musicians are irresistibly drawn and connected to.

He is the MOZART of our time!!! Amazing music, amazing intelligence and a beautiful human being. Quite the chance we have of witnessing this GENIUS.

This is virtuosic on so many levels and could so easily become an elaborate flex, but instead it feels like it's genuinely in the service of something soulful, joyful and generous.

Jacobs is obviously a great musician but it still surprises me how good of an entertainer he is. Getting the crowd involved is like second nature and you can feel the energy flowering off him.

A friend of mine was at this live show. He said it was absolutely amazing, and watching this I can confirm he was right.

I studied music, I'm a journalist who covered music and festivals for a lot of my carreer, and can confirm that this is one of the best shows you will ever see. Jacob with his supernatural powers as a musician is beyond description due to the greatness of his talent! Everything in this amazing performance is great: the chorus, the bass, the rhythm of solo guitar, the keyboards, the drums and percussion. But don't forget the direction of this movie, which is tremendous, made by a talented Portuguese guy called André Tentugal.

The chorus of this song just makes me strut with an attitude. ☺️

The only thing I'd seen from Jacob Collier were his "singing audience" shorts. I didn't realize he was such an interesting pop artist. What a talented guy! And his ability to engage the audience when he's performing is on the level of Freddy Mercury! I look forward to someday seeing him live, and getting to experience this musical magic first-hand...

That harpejji solo was incredible. Such a great use of it - if you're playing literally every instrument, it makes sense to use a version that doesn't require a strap!

Ive just come across Jacob with watching the impressive audience choir. Now every artist has their gifts and its clear that his is that passionate energy and crowd work that just sways the audience. Its very impressive and something that not a lot of performers are gifted at anymore.

It is said that music is art and that art is subjective. Well, it is the subjective opinion of this old bloke that Jacob Collier is a freaking musical genius! Also, his live performances are something to experience. I saw him in Melbourne two years ago and then again two weeks ago and was of course blown away both times. No major theatrics, just brilliant musos, and positive energy. Also, you get to join his band as he turns the audience into a choir. Just bloody brilliant!! Do yourself a favour!

There's a video of verititasium where it's listed how to become an expert. And Jacob is the perfect example of a prime human being having the 4. Let me list it down. Repeated attempts with feedback. He got all the tech, instruments and a loving parent, her mother, to nurture him while he's growing up. With regards to feedback, Jacob is stubborn and unorthodox, but the validation from his family didn't discourage Jacob but actually propelled his love with harmony and his freedom. Valid environment. He's a son of a violinist. Grew up in London. Got the instruments (most countries and people got lower income to buy these things) but he has access to it. His family is a great family and Jacob is blessed to have that environment. Timely feedback. Jacob doesn't care about anything the hinders his creativity. But he became so good that the feedback he's gotten even though he wasn't famous enough made him do more. I'm actually a fan since time and I am so proud of his growth and soul. Don't get comfortable. He is hungry, all the time. If you see his craft and music, he's actually bewildered by fractals, infinites, Universe, and his music are all spiritual - well for me. It resonates with me so much that I listen everyday to his music and it ignites something inside me to be grateful and be curious about the Universe we live it. He didn't get comfortable not because of pressure from society or from anyone who's pulling him down, rather, he didn't get comfortable because music and the universe and harmony, music, chords, harmony, are actually infinite and there are no wrong notes if you are convicted enough and know your context. Jacob Collier. I will remember him always a a human specimen of how a great man is made. Of course it's his soul and attitude combined with all these four that made him who he is. He is a nihilist, and at the same time infinitely grateful towards music and the Universe we live in, and that's why he was bestowed by this great skill and knowledge in music. I will be forever watching this young man until our time is up. Who knows what he can do for the next 50 years. Go Jacob! It's my dream to be his personal friend. Love from the Philippines!
