The catch by Nimmo 12:46 for my money was a play that has the feel of one of the greats. Too bad it wasn't in the playoffs or something, but in terms of sheer athletic artistry, how he was gliding in the air for such a distance and was so sure of the contact point, I guess it's just one of the most beautiful plays I've ever seen in sport. Really is.
Look at all those pitches 6 inches off the strike zone. The Dodgers did fantastic against him considering the zone. That likely isn’t gonna be allowed in the playoff when the best umpires are going.
Pinpoint 99 to 102 Mph 4 seamers and pinpoint 94 to 96 Mph sliders. To be this dominant when the hitters pretty much know it's 1 of 2 pitches coming is so God damn impressive.
He's really good but also really boring to watch. He's just got the two pitches really , essentially relying on velocity to get batters. I'm much more fascinated by guys l like Darvish or Shohei that throw a FULL arsenal of pitches .
@@joset9240 to be one of the greats you have to pitch more than 10 starts a year. His talent is amazing but when you barley pitch all year every year it’s not that impressive
