I've always loved two guitarists sharing lead duties. It makes it far more interesting. And it keeps them humble! It also keeps them grounded into the music more.

Fantastic !! It is the 1st Part of Eruption that is really hard to play right, not the 2nd part. Plus, he did this LIVE, at 19 yrs old, for his first tune with Zappa ... most guys would choke, a little bit. He didn't. Then, his rock chops on Willy The Pimp were excellent, like some Pat Travers stuff. This guy has got it.

This reminds me of how blown away I was when I saw Frank Zappa and a young Steve Vai do an extended guitar jam on Stevie’s Spanking in Minneapolis in ‘82. These guys crushed it. Dweezil is my favorite guitarist these days. I’ve seen him live three times. ☮️☮️

The singer knocked me out when I first saw her play with them; she did the insane male vocal from "50/50" from "Overnight Sensation", and tore it up! On top of that her look, moves, and vibe onstage are totally hot!

I loved when dweezil told the story of eruption and his high school talent show...

That must have be an awesome experience! Well done, excellent playing :) What strikes me about Dweezil is his respectful nature. He knows when to take centre stage and when to let the other instrumentalists shine.

pretty awesome when one of the best guitar players ever lets you up onstage to play with one of the best bands ever assembled. I remember Dweezil's dad doing the same for him back in '91 on the broadway the hard way tour. Dweezil jammed over stairway and blew the doors off of the place. I am close in age and I remember leaving the show thinking "how can someone so young be so freaking great?". I now realize that he is even greater than his dad was(at playing, not song writing). that is hard to believe considering how great Frank was. nice job Jacob.

Dweezil is so laid back on stage. I can only describe it as he is enjoying watching the other musicians on stage just as much as the audience is. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with him briefly after a show in Los Angeles where ZPZ was opening for Dream Theater (and practically stole the show). Dweezil was carrying his own guitar case back to the tour bus and stopped to chat with me and the other handful of fans that were standing at the right place at the right time. He was so nice and humble. I barely knew of him, nor of Frank Zappa's music, prior to that show and left there a huge fan of both.

Well deserved. Insanely awesome!!!

I've been watching Jacob's videos since 2012, around the time A Different Kind of Truth came out for Van Halen--and he uploaded some covers from that. There is not another musician since that I watch more.

Thanks for sharing your talent live on stage with the Dweezil Zappa Band, and but also, right here with the less fortunate parts of the world.

This is the first time I heard of him today. I have hope of the future of real music after watching this kid. Epic performance.

I'm so happy for this kid for real. I started watching him about a little less than a year ago, and he is so talented its insane. To be honest, if it wasn't for the net and RU-vid, who knows maybe he never would of gotten exposure outside of Quebec? Its so sweet that D Zappa gave him a spot here and hopefully he gets a lot more fans and eyes on him from people in the industry that could help him because he is amazing he makes it look so easy.
