When I was a kid there were street/fairground musicians known as one man bands, who were covered in the various tools of their trade, played with just about any part of the body that could be moved independently of each other. I sometimes see Jacob as the high-tech and electronic version of these amazing old style troubadours, and his overall grasp of what is required from a piece of music and his ability to change one or more of the elements of what he is playing mid song to allow for this impending alteration to the rhythm or flow of a melody is truly impressive.. It also helps that his voice is great and that he has an amazing understanding of harmony, a factor often displayed in his duets with others who are still trying to learn what the harmony of working towards a beautiful common end can mean.
