I grew up without friends, and when I did have a friend, she just kind of went in and out. She decided that after I moved and came back to the school we were in, she didn't want to be my friend anymore because her other friend didn't like me, so they both started to bully me. I was bullied because I used to cry a lot, I had a growing overbite that ended up really giant by the time it stopped growing, and I always said really odd things. But nobody realized that I needed someone to understand me and take my hand and lead me through the darkness and into the light. I was being abused which is why I would cry so much, my overbite was growing because both of my parents had one AND because my dad was an Indian and my mother was an English decended woman which didn't mix well, and I said strange things because that's what I heard in the conversations around me. I was never taught anything about things that were "wrong" to say. I was taught not to fight back and I was taught that I was worthless, nothing, I was taught to never think I was better than what they said I was. I was taught to be mean to people if I was upset or confused, nobody understood me. All of my friends were fake and left me because I couldn't stop crying or throwing a temper tantrum when I was confused. Eventually I got used to it and shut every single emotion out of my heart. Until my friend, the one that bullied me, came back to me and had some of the same issues. We've been leading each other through the darkness ever since. Thank you, Ari. I now have friends thanks to Ari and I've gotten so much better at dealing with my emotions and at dealing with people who just weren't worth my time. I still get bullied every day but there's still hope for me AND for the bullies. The point is, it doesn't matter who you think a person is or what they've done, learn who they REALLY are. If you don't like who they really are, don't decide to pick on them. Everyone needs someone to guide them through the darkside. Whether you like them are not is your opinion, but don't take it upon yourself to pull them back further into the darkness. No matter who you are, you need someone to help you go through the darkness. Every ghost needs a friend.
