Plenty of time for people to look at your custom while it's being towed to the shop because of that damn davco filter or sitting in the shop every month plugged into a computer getting updates.
I retired 2 years ago after 47 years. And the best thing about this rig?.Disc brakes all around. No more slack adjusters out of speck. Mr,DOT,youll have to find something else to bust my chops about.
I think the Silver, and Turquoise look great together. And I love the Turquoise trim on the wheel hubs, it just makes it look super special, which the whole truck is. Just perfect. 👌👍💙💙
Hey Steve I want to tell you do outstanding job okay and you take pride in everything you do you could tell they you detailing he's strong individually but you don't got to be one of the top dealers around cuz you take pride of everything you're doing you can see it and you explain everything so my next PT belts will come from you I can guarantee that keep up the good work I watch your videos all the time
I love what you do to these petes , we only have a few of them here in Oz . Kenworth are the best here in Oz. I get jealous looking at all those beautiful peterbuilts you can get in the states. Too many companies go for cabovers because of length restrictions especially on the b doubles .
@@davidmitchell5638 did you read my comment.? I stated that we only have a couple of peterbuilt trucks here ! Nobody drives them here so you can't compare them
If I ever build an old Pete this is the color combo I’m doing. I had thought maybe silver and navy blue just the other day but I like this color combo better.
Beautiful Pete! To nitpick, make sure your guys mask off the black parts on the lower front end before spraying the turquoise on the bumper air cylinder and hinges. The overspray caught my eye…
@@SteveCarbone Hey Steve, nice truck. A question: Why doesn't Peterbilt utilize the right control stick behind the wheel for jakes controls? The stick that says "Not for parking"?
If you do the 11 5/8" frame you don't need to double the rails plus its half the weight of a 10 foot insert i have a couple friends that have built long wheel base trucks over 300" this way love it and no rust jacketing to worry about !!!!!
Why do people go long wheelbase? Is it for ride comfort or looks? I know a longer wheelbase is more stable but I feel like it would be a son of a gun to back into tight spaces.
@@chadbollinger7281 What a shame. I wonder why Peterbilt is putting them in the 389’s and not having the option for the old style gauges. I’d be willing to say their sells will decrease, well for the 389’s at least.
Do you sell the front air suspension dump kit? I have a ‘17 389 with factory front air ride suspension and would love to be able to dump/control the front as I can in the back. I heard you swap from valves with rear valves but no idea how to plumb it to the same switch as the rears. Any input, help or sales of parts to make it happen I’d appreciate it. Thanks brotha, sweet looking truck btw. Amazing work.
