wow...no words I know can describe the emotion this stirs in me. Inexplicable, dose not come around often. Thank you Brah for sharing this with us, it blesses all who experience it!! Mahalo
Jacob, when I first heard you I thought you were awesome. But I thought the open tuning would restrict your compositions. Boy was I so wrong! This composition really kicks butt. You are without a doubt on the short list of really great hollow neck composers and players. Song after song has demonstrated your skills. It’s a privilege to hear work work! Thanks so much...
Why would open tuning “restrict his composition.?” Every song can be played in all tunings….This makes no sense. I agree with you that this song kicks ass but…I’m trying for the life me to figure out how an open tuning can restrict composition? Some of the best bands in the world strictly use open tunings. Lmao
Wonderful sounds here Jacob! Absolutely enjoy every piece you post. Your exploration for different melodies, rhythms, and blended tunes continue to really inspire listeners like myself. Thanks for sharing. Always staying tuned in --- Victor
This first Version(orginal) is way better than the verion that has newly come Out by the Candy rat,,,, That Version is too slow, and luck the magic groove that this orginal verion has,,and the sound is also better,, Soo big Kudos man,,great job
Jacob Raagaard Hi again Mister(wessenborn Guitar player)Jacob Raagaard,😊😊hmmm Even after a lot of listning of both this orginal Version of groovemeister,,and the candyrat Version,,,i still like this first Version best,,But i do agree With you that the one Version from candyrat are a bit thighter,,,But soundvise i do not agree that the candyrat is better,,maybe it has to do With the slightly higher tempo on the original Version, of this song the Groovemeister,, For there is just a tad more and easly notesble more Groovy drive in the Numbers uno Version. Damn, this is a good one mister,,KUDOS
Hey Jacob...at 1:37 there's a magic you did....actually the video and sound mixing with no mistake.....hahahaha I got you......excellent music you have made....Respect from India.
This song is kickass mate, your my new favorite youtuber and i chose your song "Sundown" as my first to learn out of all the slide songs on here sundown is the best out of them all and i want to learn this one next...you really have a gift with music, i havent got a Weissenborn or dobro i made an extension for my normal guitar (i cut a small angled piece of metal to fit on the nut and grinded the string ruts into it) and raised the strings to play like this and oh man it works well untill i get my Weissenborn and dobro im saving for...cant wait to hear more songs, surely you have an album out?
@Steeley Hank I was quite happy to hear "blues" and not "hip hop", however I was commenting on the reference in the captions about adding "hip hop" elements in this piece.
Hi Jacob, that's a great one! Thanks so much for posting. I wonder why it took three years to find it. What pickup do you use? And do you add some material to bring it closer to the strings? Anyway, keep on playing! Greetings Leo
