Jacob was an absolute cutie, and very, very good! He did his steps well and with confidence despite the fact that the little girl next to him was confused. I'm seeing this in 2019 - but Jacob did so well at age 4 - I hope he is still dancing!
Excellent! Jacob’s leaps are super extended and his little feet have already got the strength and spring required for this type of dance, where the heels mustn’t touch the ground. He seems to be listening to the music as well, as he keeps in time with the beat.
@@harrietlyall1991 I noticed how focused he was on his form and keeping in time. Some which also impressed me was, he seemed to be having a great time performing. Yeah, he's a born dancer. I can't wait to see what's in the link @Kay Warcup provided.
As I grow older, fewer things make me laugh out loud. Jacob's enthusiasm and great abandon in this dance tickled me. I loved that he learned his dance so well that he was in his zone. Those right and left of him had to get out of the high-stepping dancer's way. Beautiful and very entertaining.
Oh I remember mine at Balloch Highland games. I was about the same age. Jacob you will love your training. Listen and practice every day. Practice your feet and pointing from the heel, you are doing great! I didn't quite get to World Champion but I was a Scots Champion many times over. Practice class four times a week as long as you enjoy it and then competition on Saturday, once you are older. My best friend and rival was a boy Douglas Benson. He always was very had to beat! He always had a girlfriend as you will! To all parents split the Highland with Ballet lessons. Ballet gives you core strength and works on that elevation and foot and shoulder control. Vital. Have fun and make friends.

He’s showing so much potential for being a champion dancer. It’s such a pity they didn’t space the kiddos one back and one forward so they all had plenty of room to move. The girl to his left was getting into his space. 😊
I can’t imagine what the teacher was thinking, placing the worst dancer center stage- right next to the best dancer! So frustrating to see her invading his space 🙄
@@LittleLulubee the girl next to the boy has absolutely no sense of rhythm. AS a dance teacher you have to see that. Sorry, why was she let on stage? She has no talent sorry my honest words. Jacob did his job very well and so did the others.👍

Jacob sure knew his steps. My little boy 35 years ago (yikes) stood out when he danced also. The girls would watch him to know what they were suppose to be doing. Jacob had a girl too.
Well done all dancers!! My father's clan is from Oban, Scotland. Love, love the hearing the pipes. I know that these dancers will grow up with an appreciation for having learned the ancient ways. Bravo to the dancers, teachers and especially to the families who encourage their little ones!! 🙌

I really enjoy seeing children put their interpretation of a song, a dance, and other events where they show best voices and/or dance steps. Imagination is one great way of showing who you you are.
How incredibly adorable! I don't know about the kids you cropped out, to zoom in on him, but the ones we can see, don't know the steps as well as he does! He's adorable!
