Interesting to hear about his childhood. My grandmother was the 74 year old. Few discrepancies - she lived in Brakpan in the same complex as Nadine. He knocked on her door, and as he was a policeman, she opened the door. He thought it was the door of the 16 year old neighbour who recuperated after an operation and was home alone during school hours. It must have taken him by surprise that the woman opening the door was 74. He shot her in the mouth. She was thankfully not raped, as you said. According to what police told us, my grandmother was his last victim before he was caught. Kobus Geldenhuys - born to shoot my dad’s mom, and my grandmother. Her name was Susan Wandrag. She was a school teacher all her life, and taught piano in the afternoons to kidz. She played the organ in church, loved crosswords, tennis, condensed milk in her tea and us. She loved us, and he just took her life because he could. To God all the glory for her meaningful life. God will sort out Kobus Geldenhuys.

Hi Nicole I actually met Jacobus. What a quite timid guy with absolutely no self confidence. Hard to imagine that he was capable of such heinous crimes. Just feel so so sorry for the victims and their families.

If you do have time please cover the case of Joseph Kibweteere (probably using a different identity) founder of Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God, an apocalyptic cult behind the deaths of nearly 1000 people in the late 90s/early 2000s. He fled Uganda for Malawi (as per last report in 2014) and is still believed to be alive. His whereabouts still remain unknown

I met the one lady who was one of his victims here name was beverley. She told me he came through the bathroom window and put a knife to her throat. She was never the same after that. From wendy cape town. I worked with you beverley in durban at a car dealership. I have never forgotten you!

Go read the book, To catch a killer.' By Janine Lazarus. She was the main journalist recruited by the cops to catch Jacobus. I've met Janine and it's quite a story. She also wrote about all the murders and rapes in the papers that time that Jacobus committed.

I heard of him. We left Berea for Norwood in 1991 or 92 . We lived near Paterson Park, just around the corner from Norwood Police Flats (by the way, i think it's still being used to host police officers today)Where overseas are you going to ?

I remember this case very well, you don't mention that there was also a race element to this crime as they had arrested someone in Norwood but it turns out that he was a suspect cause he was dating white women.

I had forgotten that. Was he a poet? A colleague of a friend was a housemate of girl murdered in Norwood and they didn't find her until a couple of days after her death.

this family had a twisted way of religion if these things happened , warning were given , but no love present in the house hold , no warmth. Im glad they caught up to him 👍, i think a life sentance is better because he gets to suffer in jail for the rest of hese misrable life, its a long story but death sentance is too easy for what he deserves, but yes i blame hese parents too for alot of how he ended up to be, not been allowed to have friends is verry crule and a big mistake that affects a persons ability to be social and normal, but hese mother forbidding the porn was a good thing though he did it anyway and i do blame a bit of that on why he did what he did because it led him to have a perverted mind from a young age 👀👎, may all hese victims RIP
