yeah ... I remember Reagan Upshaw said it was so loud he couldn't even feel his heart beating during a playoff game v Miami ... what an era - hope it coming back - Vegas doesn't know how lucky it is to get this team ....
@@shonuff4323 Derek Carr led us to a 12-4 record and was an MVP candidate and some of these dudes have comfy feeling for a QB who led us to 8-8 and got benched for Bruce Gradkowski..... only Raider fans, lol.
I was at that game too...it was insane. And then hearing that "RAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDERS" chant afterwards as people were leaving...hell, I even bumped into Ted Hendricks who had this big smile on his face! Just awesome.
It's why that team was so effective. Maybe not the best at their positions, but they fit the system and played with a lot of heart. We were a defense away from being a contender
One of the greatest Raider games of all-time and an unbelievable individual performance in true Raider fashion. lots of Speed and last-minute comeback! Go Raiders!
Thanks you for not ruining this with any of that shitty rap music everyone else throws in there. Nothing better than just listening to the game itself.
I love the stadium but nothing is going to beat these late October-December games where it would be daylight and slowly decline to night! Miss you O.Co coliseum and all the memories you have for many fans
Thinking back on this day, I sat down to watch the game on Park Street in Alameda, the rain was coming in sideways...all kinds of wind and it was just a miserable early November, Bay Area morning...Ford took over the whole game, from start to finish, especially to finish, he and Campbell just blitzkrieg'd the Chiefs...and the sun was shining, and it was good.
I had gone to the bathroom mid way through halftime on the way back to my seat I debated whether going back, to my seat or buying some beer, I'm glad I chose to go back to my seat. Too Short's Blow The Whistle was playing, right before the kick-off Jacoby was jumping to the beat at the 5yrd line, then he tore the Chiefs a new asshole. The great memories at the then O.co. Seabass gave us the home W. That rainy afternoon.
One of the significances of this game i remember being excited about was that this victory put us a game above .500 for the first time during a season since like 2003
What heart what vision what HANDS what a humble awesome example of a man. Love what he said wfter he got the game ball. "I am so proud of you guys, we never, never stopped trying gave up and we kicked da ass!" Guys like Ford are the reason I have faith going into next year. RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRSSSSSS
I remembered 13 years ago when the Raiders played against the Chiefs at home when the Raiders were still playing in Oakland and now they are Las Vegas Raiders
I remember having Economics class with Jacoby at Clemson... sat on the very last row I would always have to get up of my seat to let him through. Like seeing him doing good.
" Small, raw, speed-dependent slot receiver/returner type who is not the big-play threat his timed speed suggests and could break a team's heart " - Pro Football Weekly 2010 Draft magazine. ranked 28th WR for Draft
Raider's always put great team's together "To just WIN Baby" Chuckie owes us one, if not 2, once a Raider always a Raider,,win lose or tie, Raider Nation till I die!!
This was the only game in the last 10+ seasons worth going too...It was the most lopsided first half where the chiefs dominated and that year were undefeated at the time and alone in first place in the afc west. Then Jacoby Ford took over the game....Cambell kept his poise and completed the comeback with a win in OT in one of the most penalized games in NFL history. Still member waking up my drunk half passed out brother drooling at the mouth.....shaking him saying....Wake up MAFUGA we going to OT...When Ford caught that ball in OT the crowd has never been more loud at the coliseum....I love the a's but it has never been that loud since...Best game since 03 afc championship win against titans.
We were actually having one of our best Seasons in the last decade that year, that was until Jason Campbell had his Collar Bone broken...we had a good Football team and I believe we'll be the Sleeper Team this year...The Rankings have us already at 32...
Thank you for not ruining one of the few Raider highlights posted on RU-vid with that filthy ghetto rap crap playing in the background that everyone else seems to play alongside Oakland Raider videos. Some of us dedicated Oakland fans are actually educated. Thanks again.
This game looked identical to the KC game last week, *Went to O.T *Get very lucky *Tons of penalties *Both first offensive plays of overtime are long bombs
Campbell was our guy, pretty good ball distributor, fairly consistent, clicked with his offensive assets . . . why oh why did they have to trade for Carson Palmer?
I miss these days , I was at this game, the whole stadium was shaking, I wonder why we got Dennis Allen to be head coach? Hugh Jackson was our guy , he scored the most points in a season then Dennis Allen did in two , its really sad to see good people go and people that don't know how to coach come, they should've put Hugh as a offensive coordinator , we would probably still be winning . :'(
We have found a steal with Jacoby!!! Can't wait till next season, see who we pick up in free agency, because people are going to want to play for the Raiders now!! We are young and good!! also see who we pick up in the draft!!
I remember Charles talking shit bouncin' around during the pre game warm ups in the rain. That's why we hit him in the fucking mouth and witnessed Jacoby take over this game. It was his day and well worth sitting out in the rain for.
Brandon Flowers was actually selected to the Pro Bowl that year, but couldn't go on the field trip because Jacoby Ford refused to sign his permission slip.
