My husband delivered bottled water from his business and was assured by customers. their dogs wouldn't bite. He had been bitten before and told owners that's fine but if they come at me aggressively I'll make sure this 5 gallon bottle is handy. Owners of dog's paid heed.
There's a subreddit called ban pitbulls... That sub opened my eyes. I am not surprised that a pitbull have also attacked her. The pitbull breed is more violent than the other dog breeds.

They need to be sued and the dogs placed with a family that knows how to handle dogs that show aggressive behaviour and/or have gone through abuse. Not everyone is capable of handling such dogs but it doesn't mean they should be killed because of the irresponsibility of their owners.
I am absolutely in tremendous awe of this woman. She went through that attack for nearly an hour and lost 30% of her blood, and still managed to answer the first responder questions. She is a QUEEN.
The fact that the police didn't do anything for a while is beyond me. At least taser the dogs and get the fuck in there to rescue the woman. Just sitting out there doing nothing could have had horrible consequences.

I met her last year mid 2023. I knew it was her immediately. She is coming along nicely I can see improvement in her recovery. She was a shy and quiet young lady but extremely brave and strong. I hope she here’s from that family
Does anyone know if there is a full video of this horrific event anywhere (full cop's bodycam). I also wonder if there were cameras inside/outside the homeowner's house. They seem like wonderful people that totally would never destroy evidence.

I'm sure she will. She insists on continuing her career with dogs. This isn't the last time she will be with a dog other than her own babies, I guarantee it. The support she got from everyone was heartwarming even for cynical me. It's good to know I can still have that sliver of faith in humanity.

Not only did she have to endure such pain for over 60 days, have to be resuscitated multiple times, and completely have her life change, but they didn't even pay her for her services?! That is so terrible. She is really strong and inspiring, and has such wonderful people surrounding her and supporting her. She deserves the world.

Stories like this and acid attacks always make me tear up. As terrible as it is to lose limbs and other non-face body parts, experiences like this hit differently. Especially for young people. The face means so much to society, and thus, to ourselves. What an incredible young woman and boyfriend. I hope they can continue to find happiness in each other. It can’t be easy for him either.

Noone should but it happens. Noone knows what dogs are capable of doing until it happens. These dogs were apparently sweethearts but they probably were very agressive when it came to people coming inside. Alarm most likely was the trigger that snapped them to take the offensive. I wouldn't know cuz family personally never had to pay for a babysitter but we did have the person who sold her to us almost got messed up for trying to take a step in the house uninvited.

Just like parents say about their kids 'she/he's a sweetheart' 'my kid wouldn't do that' etc. Think if you had your own dog that you raised yourself and it acted all friendly and happy and was all around a good dog or maybe have a friend with a dog who acts like a complete ham and wants all the attention and pets and all around just loves being loved. UPDATE: Both dogs were put down following the awful attack and Jacqueline sued the owners for negligence. She is now taking to social media to inspire other people who may have endured a similar fate to keep positive.

Many dog owners are delusional like the ones on the video, so yes, unfortunately the aggressive dogs who have attacked people grievously needed to be put down to prevent future accidents. Often times, these aggressiveness is due to bad breeding + bad upbringing which more often than not, couldn't be fixed. So, like it or not, better safe than sorry.
Do you really think after their dog attacked the dog sitter and tore her face off, they're going to come to her house and say oh yeah by the way we forgot to pay her. Even if they came to the hospital to check on her it would be crazy after what happened to offer the family dog sitter money.

really did you see what happened to her face? This family accepted 2 already damaged dangerous dogs into their homes who could attack them any time and this is what happened. Man I've been struggling with acute depression for 9 years- often wishing to end it all. But then I see this woman's mind- boggling will to live and I want to fight for life too. Slowly I stand to face life's brutal hurdles.
Same here, there’s countless days I feel depressed or so unhappy about life, but it’s videos like these that remind me I need to be grateful for life. I feel for this sweet girl who is a fighter and clearly didn’t deserve what happened to her. I hope that family with those dogs from hell rot in hell for not even apologizing for what happened. I'm a jack russell guy myself...but the bull dogs I have know where some of the friendliest dogs I've experienced...and me being a stranger to them.....about a month ago I was walking my jack in the country and came across a starving female pit that someone dropped off...she was friendly from the start...I brought her to my parents and rehabilitated her...one if the smartest and friendliest dogs I've know
Yo i deliver stuff and we are told to put atl stuff near the front door, so i walked into this house a fucking dog came at me and bit me twice, it was one of the skinny ones and couldnt get through my thick work pants. I kinda like froze and stared into his eyes he tried to bite again i kicked him in the face and then he ran away. Some of them are crazy mfs man. Still kinda scary man she a strong one.
My daughter was attacked by a pit nearly tore her leg off. Left her in the hospital for 2 months.This poor young lady having her face torn off and still being positive about it is amazing and inspiring.
Bless her, what a lovely young woman. She's come a long way and will only continue to get better due to her inner strength. I truly hope to see her story updated as she gets on with her life. Very inspiring.

yes she is incredibly strong! my son had his 2nd birthday in an ICU because he had suffered a dog attack 2 days before his birthday, I was also attacked when I tried to save my son, after almost a year me and mine son we are still very afraid of animals in general, it is an uncontrollable fear, she is really an extraordinary woman 🌷

A lot of times i have been aggressively attacked from big dangerous pitbulls, rottweilers and german dogs and yet their owners not only they struggle to hold them back from aggressively biting me but also deny their dogs faults, I'm disgusted!!! I can't imagine how frightening it must have been to be attacked by not 1 but 2 dogs. 800 bite marks on her body he said. And to be resuscitated multiple times during surgery, says so much about her fight to live and her time was not done yet. She is such an extremely strong and amazing woman. I hope to see another article of her some day doing the things she dreams of. And as far as the owners, it sounds like they are cowards and do not deserve to own pets ever again.

I don't understand how the owners are not responsible for paying her medical bills indefinitely. It's the only thing that would make sense after their dogs destroyed this girl's life. They didn't even pay her for the dog sitting that day.

I'm not saying they couldn't be guilty, bit the story and current facts doesn't make sense why the dogs attacked her, especially when the dogs have an easier prey than the girl. Either the owners were lying about not having problems, or something happened I'm that house and it triggered the dogs. The dogs may have even growled at the children before, and dad (or whomever the dogs consider the “alpha”) may have so terrified the dogs with his reaction that they learned to leave the kids alone. All dogs will give a warning, such as growling, before they bite, unless they’ve been punished for it in the past. Also, dogs can exhibit aggression that owners either don’t recognize or ignore. That said, I’d bet money those dogs have shown aggression before that the owners are denying, or may actually never have even recognized. If Jacqueline met the dogs before, it was most likely when visiting the family before she took on the dog-sitting job. The dogs probably barked at her initially, but the dad essentially ordered them to “leave it!” (her) alone. Many dogs bark when you arrive at a home, so it wouldn’t have kept Jacqueline from entering to do her job. Dogs can be aggressive when they feel frightened and for most bites, the motivation is fear. Dogs, by nature, are territorial and they guard something which they value highly, and they defend their favorite resting place. When she entered their home, the dogs might simply have been fearful of her getting close to them, or into their space. They probably had strong guarding tendencies, and resorted to biting because they perceived their home being intruded upon. Some dogs are highly territorial. Like with wolves, If a wolf who’s not part of a pack invades their territory, the resident wolves will attack and drive off the intruder. Some dogs display the same tendencies. They bark and charge at people or other animals encroaching on their home turf. Dogs will attack and bite an intruder, whether the intruder is friend or foe. Dogs can be their owner’s best buddy for ten years and one day suddenly attack them. It is vital to be able to recognize warning signs in your dog. There are many that owners may even consider cute.

When I look at how petite she is it's truly a miracle that she survived this horrific attack. I would never want to be around anybody's dog again. I hope this young lady continues to shine.Bless her.

@@truthhurts775 In my lifetime my family has a a mutt dog. A Doberman Pinscher. And a West Highland White Terrier. Care and caution must be taken with all dogs. However, one must really be cautious about rescue dogs. Some of the rescue dogs have been traumatized to the point that when they are placed with a loving family,... If there is anyone that may come along that doesn't even try to harm them,... They may see that person as a threat to their new, and safe comfort zone. I believe one of the dogs was more of the aggressor towards this beautiful young lady, and that sparked the other dogs aggressiveness, even more.
The fact that she has a loving and loyal boyfriend is going to aid immensely in her healing and getting through this challenge . I find it so moving .....such a touching testament to human love

How horrible! We have constitutional carry AND irresponsible pet owners, so much so, I am ALWAYS armed!!! I refuse to have a grandchild or MYSELF hurt because someone else is STUPID. I'm a dog owner but, my dog NEVER leaves my house. We will dispatch a biting dog and not lose one minute of sleep!

As a dog sitter who has been attacked once, this breaks my heart. I was able to be strong enough to wrestle and jumpmover a fence to safety. I wish her a speedy recovery back to health

Money isn't the main point, it's entirely the ethics behind withholding it. To focus on the MONEY is undermining her priorities and makes it seem as if you completely ignore her view on the story.

I had major facial reconstructive surgery several years ago, and while it's nowhere near as extensive as Jacqueline's I still have a hard time looking in the mirror and seeing someone I don't quite recognize looking back at me. Stay strong girl! You got this :)

The owners of the dogs NEED to be held ACCOUNTABLE. Saying that they are sorry isn't enough. They knew how these dogs were and still allowed someone to dog sit them... It is almost like they baited her to their house. And to add insult to injury they did not fully pay her for her services. The freaking nerve! 🤬😤 On a brighter note I am glad she survived and that her boyfriend is still with her. That warms my heart.
For rescuing dogs they get charged you people are authoritarian just as bad as bullshit cbs putting this shit out to get clicks they literally used her they don’t care
The rescue shelters who keep releasing pit bulls to the public need to be sued too. I blame the pit bull rescuers more than anyone. How many more examples to we need to realize these dogs don't belong in public?
Her parents were so happy to see her alive. She is loved and I hope she will continue to heal physically and emotionally. She's very brave and very positive.
@Jacob Keegan that’s what I would think as well, if this happend to my face or I would be severely burned I don’t think I would want to live anymore. All that pain, all those surgeries and don’t forgot the looks she will have to endure for the rest of her life 😢

I'm confused how they didn't even pay any of her medical bills or anything. Or reached out. Those are their dogs and they're responsible if they attack someone unprovoked, especially when they nearly kill someone. I'm surprised the dogs haven't been put down to be honest, I've seen that stuff been done for far less. But the point is, if your dogs nearly kill someone completely unprovoked, that is your responsibility to bear. And a good dog owner would at the very least reach out and help the girl in any way they can, even if it's not financially possible. If this is how you react after your dog attacked someone, there's something wrong.
@@strawberryfox8819 Unfortunately, Their Attorney probably has advised them to not have any contact do to future or current litigation. And, just as unfortunate for the victim, Lawyers's will always tell their clients that they should never admit wrong doing.
Her strength is something I can't even come anywhere close to. I don't normally say this but this girl gained all the respect for being so brave & optimistic.

Don't know why this video was recommended to me...but I'm glad it was. Jacqueline is an incredibly strong young woman to not only survive this horrible incident, but to have a great attitude. Pitbulls are land sharks. Is not negligence, it is pitbull lovers that created this issue and 100 of thousands of pets killed by pitbulls per year, plus many persons killed as the evidence shows.
The ending was appalling, she hasn't even been paid in full?! This is absolutely disgusting, the owners are completely negligent towards her situation. She however, is a brave young lady and I wish her the best and many prayers.
Standard pitbull owner behavior. The public is naive to the dangers of pitbulls. The pitbull likely started the attack, and then the subordinate german shephard joined in.

What a strong woman. Wow 🙌 I am in tears, she was so little and all those bites.. I am confident she will go far. So strong and inspiring. The family didn’t even pay her for her service. I hope she wins the lawsuit and then some for her pain and suffering.
They are certainly responsible because if you know your dogs are “crazy” and you have a warning at your door it’s because you know they are likely to hurt someone. They should have boarded them.
It would be an insult to pay her just for the hour she went in for when she came out almost dead .. I think they need to think up more compensation then that !!
Those Cops should also be sued. They waited a ridiculous amount of time to get to her. Those cops should’ve immediately neutralize those dogs to go and help her.
When the boyfriend said he’s glad he gets to be there for her after she was there for him when he had cancer… I started crying. That’s so beautiful and I’m happy they have each other. 💙
