@@driftercarbon Ive liked watching Jon's content change as he has gone through different places in life. That being said, there is a light hearted certain charm from Jon's older videos that I find really endearing and nostalgic. It felt like watching a best friend describe a videogame he played while cracking jokes. I know Jon started out as an AVGN clone, but his content was always so much more than that. I started watching Jon as an 8'th grader and am now close to wrapping up college, wow time does fly.
Well, he might not be dead (and I'm glad he isn't) but I can see he is getting very old so not having him in the videos all the time was a good move from Jon's side, since Jacques could suddenly pass away, so the videos don't DEPEND too much on Jacques to make it a Jontron video.
TBF, Jon really loves his birds and talks about them quite often outside his videos. Knocking on wood here, but I think Jacques got another good 15-20 years in-front of him with Jon.
@@LET4M4RU He doesn't necessarily have to tell us, but I feel that he would. Jacques is his bird, yes, but he was also a big part of the show for a long time. If I were Jon, I wouldn't feel right keeping jacques' death a secret from fans
@@cimengngialah2735 The first point is completely fair, but I argue that there are a lot of games that only a handful of popular game review/game play channels have touched, so it’s less of him finding an obscure one and more of him feeling like doing it. While I miss his game reviews, his content after stopping feels like a natural transition since he tended to be inaccurate or more focused on the jokes than the actual game. Granted I use the term “review” loosely since at the end of the day most of his videos have the same formula of ripping something apart with comedy, regardless of what the actual topic is.
There are things worse than death: Bad seeds, not having a mirror or other bird to talk to or having your likeness stolen and imprinted on a lifeless idol... Which you can get only for a limited time so be quick and get yours today before they run out!
Jacques actually left JonTron back when JonTron murdered him with a laser in the Banjo Kazzoie: Nuts & Bolts episode. Feeling heartbroken, Jacques found shelter with a new friend, named Jonathan Tronathan. Tronathan was different from JonTron, and they lived happily ever after, until Jacques was murdered once again, this time by his long lost brother Rockington, and Tronathan couldnt bring him back. As for JonTron, he replaced Jacques with another bird, but deep down inside he knows the pain Jacques feels inside Or, another theory is that THAT BIRD IS JONTRON
Jon said a while ago he stopped using Jacques in videos because he doesn't follow direction very well and makes it hard to get consistent takes. Probably because he's a bird.
Doesn't Jon film on a set these days? That would explain why we haven't seen him in a while. It'd be stressful for a bird to take him between home and a set constantly.
So I’ve seen some people asking why Jacques is turning his head so much, he’s not sick, he actually noticing himself in the camera or monitor and being very interested in who that handsome fellow is Edit: Wow. Okay. Did NOT mean for this to blow up. Y’all are arguing a bit, didn’t mean to ruffle y’alls feathers. (This is why my parents don’t love me)
Or maybe he hasn't been on the show because its incredibly stressful for a bird to be constantly moved between places. And dangerous since Jon works on an actual set now, instead of his home.
Can’t be mad at Jacque I mean John didn’t even invite him to his wedding like come on dude that’s cold he’s been your bro for a long time he should been your best man
Jaques is a green cheeked Conure, as far as I can tell. These bad boys have a long life expectancy, ranging from 20 to 25 years. Jaques will be around for quite a while!
"No Jacques, don't do this to me! You ain't doin' this to me!" "Jon, I don't feel so good..." "Don't worry, i-i-it's just a glitch. You'll get over it." *Jacques turns into dust* "Well, shit. My bird is dead and now there's all this sand stuff I gotta clean up. Guess I'll just have to build another bird."
@@ericbadder1552 "Whyd you comment that? To prove you watched it? Im confused why you transcribe part of the video into a comment. Please explain" -Eric Badder, 2019
Shout out all the way from the wintery Isles within my beloved East London, Canning Town! Literally ordering the Youtooz limited edition as I type. So glad you're still working and putting out content bruv. 😁
