Join him as he and his band, Half Japanese, tour with Neutral Milk Hotel throughout Georgia and North Carolina.

I saw Jad perform "Firecracker" with Half Japanese at Maxwell's (in Hoboken NJ) back in the late 80s. I was fortunate to see Half Japanese when David Fair still an active member at Folk City in Greenwich Village in NYC in the mid-80s. They were fantastic!

It's understandable, given how long ago he left the band, but I feel David Fair is not given enough attention or credit. I liked Half Japanese better with both Fair brothers and less instrumental facility.

Totally agree. David wrote almost all the songs on the first few records ('Calling All Girls' for example) and that stuff was real outsider art!
