Me too! I have always been independent because that's the way my Mom raised me to be! Like with each passing day, God has been putting me in positions where I have to ask for help! My Past conditioned me to where I did not have the luxury of depending on someone! I felt like it was me against the world. The idea that someone honestly wants to help me or the idea that someone actually wants to be with me, I am just like who me? That is so foreign to me! I started to chew on it last night! It like has to let it sink in! I guess I am trying to make sense out of something that doesn't make sense maybe??
Drew I'm an introvert as well and I'm learning daily to not always try to do everything alone or reject help because my mind set has been, "self reliant" and isolation for so long.
So good. Praying for the person reading this who has been betrayed by a friend and may be fearful to befriend again. I pray that the Lord shows you who your friend is and that you can trust again. ❤

There have been folks who came into my life and I fell madly in love with them, their laughter, their talk. Through it all, I was attempting authenticity. One small thing happened and these peeps cracked. I was destroyed. While walking with GOD, I realized those folk who fell off did not help my purpose, my vision. With that the depression over these people leaving fell.

I guess I have to hang up my independent shoes! To be brutally honest, I didn't think that I would need someone in my life! Want okay but need... No! It's pride, I suppose! I used to could take care of myself but now, I am struggling so! I don't think I am going to be able to do this on my own, no matter how hard I try!

I've had good friends that became partners & some who just stayed friends & seemed to only take spiritually. I'm investing more time with my partnerships. This was good for me to hear right now, I already felt they were different & needed to change how we interacted. 🩷
