The articulation and poses you can put this thing in, it's absolutely incredible for $25. Big props to Jada, they're fairly new to the 6 inch action figure game and it seems like they know what they're doing. This has me even more excited for their upcoming Street Fighter toys.
I love how you were so happy with him and it was obvious in a subjective way, but you were also very objective at providing the info of what you could see there. Great review and we're used to! Congrats on getting it from Jada Toys
_This_ is the look we should've gotten from NECA. I mean we will, but I just want the most iconic one from the get-go. Haven't gotten any of these since NECA makes them, but damn, the Invisible Man is the crown jewel of this line. They started off cartoonish looking, then the Creature I think has a better head than NECA, now this one looks like it was made by another company. Really hope they get to do some other crazy cool characters from other properties.
@@UnparalleledUniverse Yeah, when you pulled off the kick pose with him I was like "Sheeeeeesh, if the Invisible Man can pull that off, should be no problem for the SF figs." 🤞
My favorite Universal Monster character too, I´ll buy both Jada and the NECA one. Wow, we're getting two fully articulated Invisible man figures after years of statues... What a time for collecting toys! :^D
Great time to be a collector for sure! It’s nice to finally have some options for Griffin! For the longest time all we had was the Diamond Select “Action Figure” haha
I have this bad boy on pre-order at BBTS, I hope this means they'll be shipping out soon. I'm also looking forward to receiving this figure more than any of my Legends or Classified pre-orders.
I thought this was Negative Man at first! Anyway, this looks really cool. The '33 film might be my favourite of the classic Universal monster series (either that or _The Mummy_ ). Those accessories are also excellent in portraying his invisibility. Maybe there'll be a variant of him with a removable torso for the end of the film.
Great review!.I think the figure is awesome 👍. I think really liked all the accessories that came along with the figure. I wish that they would have added an accessory of his his clothes piled on the floor like he took off his clothes and he's completely invisible. But overall it a great figure.
I have also been wanting an articulated Invisible Man figure and can't wait to get this! I agree that a Mezco One:12 of the character would probably be one of my favorite figures of all time, so hopefully that happens in the future somehow. I also think something that would have made this figure even better would have been a removable neck to add an additional "invisible" look. Hopefully Jada does his suited/outdoor look soon!
Man, this looks incredible! I’ve been mostly sticking to the Neca Universal Monsters line, and I’ve been waiting for their Invisible Man, but I might just have to pick this one up, too. It looks fantastic, especially with the glove-removing hand!
Dude, great review. I'm already all in on this line and you made me even more excited for this one. I've always liked his story too. I loved the newest version too, starring Elizabeth Moss. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Any way, I can't wait for this dude. Now I'm considering getting another one to paint up and customize into a different outfit.
I need to watch that new version man! I bought it a few years back and haven't taken some time to watch it. TOoooOoo much stuff to do! Ill get to it though. I feel like I will enjoy it.
And to think these people are making street fighter figures now. Can’t wait to have those in hand. Probably gonna get this dude too when I get the chance.
I'm all in on the Neca Universal monsters line so I'm skipping these 6" figures, but I can't deny how great this figure looks. Things like the glove removal hand and the unwinding bandage head are things every figure of this character should had, makes him instantly dynamic. Jada to me are more playable type figures, ones that you'd pick up and pose around, whereas Neca to me are more detailed display pieces, although they're no slouch for articulation either especially that Mummy figure. Also, cool to hear he's your favorite Universal monster, not something I hear very often. Growing up the Wolf Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon were my top two, but the Frankenstein Monster and the Mummy have crept up that list in recent years, the Invisible Man would be after that, then Dracula at the bottom, I just prefer other takes on that character to Lugosi's version.
3:45 I wonder if the legs on the glasses can be fixed, cause it's lookin' crazy with one going up and the other going down. 8:03 I kept saying _"What's that bump thing inside the head? What does it look like from the top? Move the camera up or tilt the figure down so we can see!"_
Griffin is also my favorite monster. Both the movie and book versions are some of the best villains ever. As you said in the convention, probably the one monster with the biggest body count. Claude Rain's voice is so awsome
@@spoodurmin9742 nothing yet! I don’t handle him THAT much but When I first got him I messed around with him quite a bit, he’s been fine. I think the only issue he had was the thing with the wrist but that was there from the jump
Aww man, looks like I'm going have to start a new universal monsters line. Great review as always. P.S. He looks like Rupert the bear in that robe, 🤣🤣🤣
Man, looking at this figure (which I LOVE, btw), makes me wish Jada would get a chance to do the Watchmen character line-up! If Mcfarlane does some, I'm sure they'll be cool and all, but I am getting MAJOR Rorschach vibes off Hawley here...
I have fond memories of going to Hollywood Video and picking out the universal monster movies on VHS. Years later i get the opportunity to get them in figure form. This invisible man figure looks amazing. Top three are The Gill-Man, Dracula, and The Invisible Man.
This one is for sure going with my mezco Captain Nemo, loose collector Mister Hyde, and mezco Solomon Kane. Slowly have a mini League of extraordinary Gentleman
Had a good laugh when u said he was never seen doing crazy poses in the movies lol But that's up to your imagination as he was invisible and was probably doing backflips moon walking past homies all sorts of Salor moon or jojo stances, only the lord knows!
TBH this kinda makes me mad of how often Marvel Legends messes up the articulation on figures with much shorter "skirt" pieces. Like the worst I can think of is Death Dealer from Shang-Chi
You can get him to do things you'd never see him do in the movie? Yeah that makes sense. Now to walk into the holy of holies and make millions run squealing in terror.
This one is WAAAY better than the NECA one. I've been collecting all the NECA ones but I can't stand the toupee sticking out on theirs. This is the Invisible Man I remember. I'll see how he looks mixed in with the rest of the NECA ones. I don't see anyone making this comment. I must be the only one.
