Jade’s artistry is still developing. I still think the responsibility lies with her coach & choreographer. There needs to be variations in speed & tempo in the dance sections instead of performing everything at the same speed. Can we please get this girl a decent routine?
So sexist we still ask female gymnasts to be good « artistically » (in fact we ask them to have a beautiful and feminine body, to stay light and graceful while doing the hardest trick) when men can just to their crazy tumblings without bothering… Everyone´s talking about that for Jade, but she does gymnastics, she never asked to be a dancer
First of all MAG is a total different discipline. There is a reason why Romania never had a strong men’s team, why the USA doesn’t medal in men, Japan is, for decades now a superpower in men’s artistic gymnastics while not in women’s etc. secondly, this is WOMEN ARTISTIC gymnastics. If Jade, or anyone else, doesn’t want to “dance”, there’s always power tumbling to switch to.
@@leykimayri and it is Men’s ARTISTIC gymnastics so you ridiculous statement falls flat. Yes it is sexist that women are ex-edited to be “artistic” (completely subjective) but the men are not.
@@pedropelaez Could you please stop writing STUPIDITIES? Not having pointed toes, having flat feet, having bent knees, having legs apart from each other, not hitting splits, those are also DEDUCTIONS IN MEN ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS. So do us both a favor and go stfu yourself
@@leykimayri no olympic sport of pure tumbling for women. also i notice you go out of your way to comment on any post that isnt pro-Jessica or that a non-jessica gymnast is underscored. That said, both can be true. 1) Artistry is fair to have in WAG and 2) Jessica was overscored on floor+beam
@@zb6070 Ao what if there is no Olympic sport? There are still world championships and sponsorships etc, in addition they all knew IN ADVANCE that it’s ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS in which tumbling is just only a part. And yes, I commented a lot on Jessica’s videos, because M0R0NS LIKE YOU attack the girl saying she didn’t deserve it and that she was overscored and stole the medal from someone else without PROVING IT. So I dare you, PROVE SHE WAS OVERSCORE BY SCORING HER ROUTINE. Can you? Then do it. If you can’t, the man STFU
She needs a fast song and that should be obvious by now. The only justifiable reason that they haven't switched her to fast music is because she doesn't have the stamina to be able to finish. She needs to work on her bent knees and the music would benefit her so much
Her tumbling is great, except for the bent legs now and then. Her artistry has come a long way, much more graceful. I think the fact she has a very unexpressive face is what gets her most deductions, something she has always done. And really, why should female athletes at this level have to “perform” when the men don’t? Well done Jade.
@@nabojsa Interesting. You're basically saying MAG isn't artistic anymore. Why is it still called artistic then? Or why hasn't it been merged with tumbling which is, according to you, a seperate sport without the "artistic" part? Even more interesting is your claim that a performance can be "artistic" without any dance and music in it. Why is Jade being trashed all the time for her lack of "artistry" then if dancing isn't required for her routines to be "artistic"? Because she doesn't show different facial expressions? To demand that stuff (dancing, showing feelings) of women in a highly athletic sport while men in the same sport aren't bothered with it is just sexist bullshit if you think about it.
@@fosbury68 Men's ARTISTIC Gymnastics neither needs music nor dancing nor any acting skills. Oh, I forgot, women are these tender, elegant, fairylike creatures that need to balance out physical strength by dancing and showing emotion under the pretense of it being "artistic". The more I think about it, the angrier I get about the awful sexism in this sport and the viewers supporting this bullshit. Either make the men dance and perform on floor as well and have them wear leotards without any gym shorts or stop bothering women with it. Or at least let the women balance it out, let them do an additional tumbling pass on floor to compensate for the lack of dancing or something. But stop making a petty excuses by refering to the vague term "artistic".
AMEN. This new code of points let Jessica Gadirova scores 14.4 with those horrible tumblings. Her technique is completely wrong. She scored as Andrade and 0.3 more than Carey. Wtffff
@@silviosorbera4385 Thank you both so much for these comments. I was ranting about this stupid "artistry" argument after all these comments trashing her for not dancing enough.
She needs to work on her legs, they are usually bent. That is a tiny thing in most people eyes but in elite its huge. They should have her first pass either the triple full she does or a double twist tuck with other E and D elements in other areas to avoid getting those deductions on simple things
