i couldn't agree more! jade has class intelligence and beauty and was taught by her father to work, work, work, for whatever she wanted. mick doesn't just hand everything to his kids just because they have money and didn't spoil his children like so many celebrities do. so many celebs are so arrogant and entitled to what they have and here you have somebody who actually has her head on her shoulders. that's to be admired.
Before you criticize Jade I want to point out she was a FB friend of mine. Very nice lady. Her parents ensured as normal an upbringing as possible. Mick is a very conservative Englishman who ensured the safety of his offspring and stressed good behavior.

i don't know if this was taken out of context, but this is a quote from her "God, what gorgeous staff i have. I just can't understand those who have ugly people working for them, i really can't. Just call me a pathetic aesthetic". I read this in my econs textbook.
Before Jade, Sir Mick also had another daughter in Karis (who was born after Mick left Marianne Faithfull but before marrying Bianca), whose mother is fellow singer Marsha Hunt. He claims he knew nothing about her (although his first married wife, Bianca, says _she_ had) until two paternity suits were filed against him (in 1973 and again in 1978) by her mother.
If true, disgusting. A man with that much money not assuming a financial responsibility for children he has fathered seems less than human. My grandfather was like this, apparently. On the other hand, there are opportunists who will pretend such things are true when they are not. I think of the Rolling Stones as iconic, while finding some of their lyrics psychopathic, so this seems to me like something like he might do. It is novel for me to engage in celebrity gossip. :)
This has nothing to do with being a famous rock star. My own grandfather did similar things. He left his wife and children when my mom was 6. She later learned of several half siblings. It is sad for the child. Yet my mom still had a happy childhood.
