I Waited Over 2 Years To Release This Video For A Reason, What You’re Going To Experience Are My True Feelings And Emotions, Some Of You Will Cry With Me Some Of You Will Laugh At Me, Regardless It’s Happening. SYRE Didn’t Die He’s Just Good At Hiding. Let The Hills Be With You And I Love You ALL. -Wavy Baby
It sucks because I can never relive the precious moment of hearing this song for the first time. Thank you for the likes, a reminder to cherish every moment.
@@Eivn-gq1dp he filmed everything in the same day for the album. Notice how it's darker here then in the other music videos. Also it's supposed to show that he's stuck at the aame sunset everyday
Seeing Jaden grow as an artist since 2010 has been a complete journey. He’s such an underrated artist yet his music is actually so incredibly powerful in terms of emotions and artistic creativity. This music video just hits different because as we’ve vibed to it in our cars, sang it in concerts as loud as we could and just connect to it in every single level, it’s one of the greatest pieces he has created. He pours his entire soul into the words that come out of his mouth and I think that’s truly beautiful!!
ninety, summertime in paris, fallen, fallen pt2, SOHO, PCH, let it breathe, play this on a mountain at sunset, somebody else && lost boy are songs that would be perfect to listen to as the sun sets EDIT: adding more songs bc i realise how many ive missed and thank you for 1k likes
"saying that we'll run away/ I doubt that we'll ever go/ I hope the sunset will stay/ we've travelled too far from home" is CRAZY like that's been on my mind for almost three years now. I'll always associate it with this feeling of having a found family.
Personally I dont think he is above average talented. Solid voice, good rhythm. I think his lines though are kind of basic, and I am also biased against his "rich kid thinks he is special" persona.
When I first heard 'Plastic', I was like 'whoa, this kid has potential!' His work is very creative, but from a strictly musical perspective it’s a bit one-dimensional. Still, I have a lot of respect for him especially looking at his charitable and environmental engagement.
Very rare you see a child from a celebrity have talent...and Jaden it's his own Man!! Got his own vibe, and love how he's so different..like when he tells a story in his songs..he draws you in...and this how you separate yourself and stand out!! He's underrated!!!
I totally agree underrated. He's really good.Hes better than his sister that sadly didn't do so well in the music industry. But i wish him best of luck and he goes far in his music career we need new Young Blood out here and hes the one to do it.Good Luck Jaden👊
This is a masterpiece, I’m literally in tears rn, the visuals, the acting, the pain, the sadness, the confusion, and all of the emotions projected in this video are amazing. I think the majority of us can somehow relate to the story and that’s also why we are able to feel the pain he’s trying to project. Sometimes love is about letting go and at the moment we can’t really understand why that’s happening but soon you will realize that everything happens for a reason. Jaden you’re amazing, thank you for sharing this with us.♡
This song doesn't get old, instead I find a deeper layer everytime I come to listen to it. Jaden really gave us a timeless masterpiece in fact you'd be hard pressed to find an album as great as SYRE
It's so sad especially knowing that him and Dessa really broke up so this video is actually filled with true genuine feelings and I'm going through it with him. what a legend.
Jaden gives off such cosmic vibes man , he got drip , he got depression , he got creativity , and mad originality too. Jaden looks and acts like he's from Mars . He just does his own thing , got a vibe of his own.He could be doing nothing in life and splash his dad's bands but he's doing something beyond the understanding of most people . This guy is too good to be hated . His persona is truly euphoric. Edit : I know there's nothing cool about depression but it's a part of the persona showcased in syre . I just think the mellow sadness makes it more of a masterpiece . And that's just my opinion cause I feel like I have a hype personality but a part of me is always mellow and on the ground , so I'm just tryna vibe to this my way so I can get the best out of it
This goes way beyond creating music. It's an emotional outlet, it's an anointing. Just like how Chester Bennington (lead singer of Linkin Park) was a mouth piece for and helped a lot of people suffering with depression and other mental disorders using music, Jaden is doing the same, my prayer is that his music heals him too. This is such beautiful artistry to witness.
I didn’t listen to Linkin Park back then and was like why is everyone so depressed about Chester’s death but now I now.. he was the only one who couldn‘t be healed by his own music
As somebody who's been constantly listening to this song for a couple years, this music video adds volumes to something i've been able to just listen to and vibe or relate to on repeat. Theres just something special about this track to me, Thanks Jaden.
I love how Jaden’s whole vibe is different to a lot of these very popular musicians, if more people were more open-minded to being different and wanting to stand out, the world would be so much more beautiful...
This song is bittersweet for me. When it came out I'd play it all the time because the vibes made me feel free, like my life wasn't pre-written or structured, like my destiny could fork off into so many paths. Now I'm in a committed relationship with a wonderful woman and I have a steady career, so next comes marriage and kids and etc. but this song is the last remnant of a time where I wasn't hinged by any of those things, and a part of me misses it. It's like listening to the last year of my youth.
jaden smith is so fucking talented. the chill vibe until the middle as it gets higher and higher and the feeling of the music starts to get more euphoric as it hits its climax and then goes back down to being a chill story telling time then the silence at the end. it’s all just so perfect and genius. it’s literal fucking GOLD
Did this man just give us 6 incredible songs and a poem in almost 8 minutes?! RESPECT HIS CRAFT ALREADY! Superb visuals btw. Job well done, worth the wait.
Spluxx hence worth the wait.... He didn’t drop the video for it,specifically. Thought he’d cut it down for the numb-skulls. In the moment I was excited he visualized the whole piece/song.
This young man will find his true calling & be far greater than his dad soon enough. His time will come, keep pushing Jaden, it's there & you definitely are very talented! Keep climbing, don't stop!
This song made the album for me. I hope you return to making songs the way you did in SYRE because it was a masterful piece of art. I cant wait for the next video

I wish they never would have taught you 13 year olds what nostalgia means because it’s starting to get cringe readying everyone talk about nostalgia but haven’t even live through shit yet 🙄🙄🙄 go read a book
@@defstrikem2743 It's kind of funny that you're assuming their age and then proceed to ignore the rest of their comment. The top comment said they feel nostalgic about something they haven't experienced yet and then you said you cringe when you read about people talking about nostalgia for things they haven't lived through yet which makes your comment useless. And what will reading a book solve? That's not how you gain real-life experience. Just like Jaden's songs, they'd just be hearing another story. Either way, no need to be rude :l
“Gave you my two cents, ain't got money, but I'll take you somewhere fun and tell you something funny” I felt that because thts how it be. Plus this song hit diff in the shower
Man I used this song WAY too many times when I was feeling depressed or too lost to function. To see it in a video form is just immaculate. Keep strong distant virgo 🥰
when are we ever going to admit Jaden is an absolute goat, far surpassing his father and his peers, all without recognition, jaden, i named my son after you, you are an experience!
@@h3cz_ when you been a fan of his since u were just a little boy, and watched all these other rappers become idiots meanwhile he’s out here creating absolute masterpieces, it’s just sad he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves
Having to deal with heartbreak knowing that the other person lost connections, feelings, is so very hard...having to deal with the lies...feeling like nothing...yet you still have to live. Nothing you can do at that point.
I consider this as my favorite song of all time. This is a masterpiece! I listen to this everytime i feel down, happy, hyped or when ever i am in a different mood. It's so good!
Unless you’re implying his arms are longer then your entire body which would probably be a problem although when you say ‘now he’s bigger than me’ it implies he used to be smaller then you so I’d assume that’s not the case and it was just you making a grammatical error.
If your a lover of the arts, you'll love this. Poetry in motion. Even if someone doesn't understand, you can still feel the emotion behind it. This is my lane of music and i love it!!
To be honest, I’ve never listened to this song attentively. And I just realized my fears in a deeper perspective... wow. I didn’t think I would cry, but here I am
This is artistic expression at its peak, the kid has a great literary and artistic background that enables to embody the character of a true artist who is able to unveil his raw emotions and achieve relativity with others. Whether you correspond to the theme of the song or not, you cannot deny the mastery with which this song and visual presentation are put!
the story of Syre is really beautiful if you think about it. Syre wakes up every morning with amnesia and chases a sunset until it the sunset chases him and kills him. I like thinking it represents all the people who get themselves into relationships where they eventually get hurt but they still live on and love more people. I love how the music starts out as a happy upbeat attitude as if there's a element of naiveness, and the lyrics express that as well. Making excuses to himself that she's just too busy to see him, failing to realize that she just never liked reciprocated the feelings he had for her. I think this element speaks to almost everyone in the world. The music then cuts. As if to represent a sudden change in his life that is unexpected. Like heartbreak. As he describes himself as a stone, it represents that feeling of a first heartbreak. Confused with emotions, so hurt that it doesn't even feel like living anymore, rather just going on day to day. These feelings are emphasized with the realization in the lyrics that, she never felt the same way. Hes been lying to himself this whole time. I love how it connects to the poem of Syre as well. On top of chasing the sunset, he was hurt because of it. Its a song of heartbreak that ends on a hopeful ending. I love that,
For real bro. I'm only 16 and all anyone listens to is mumble rap or something close to it. There are a few people that have ventured out from the just straight rap box, but not many. I've learned to just let people listen to their music and if they wanna sleep go ahead and sleep
This hits so hard, and it's not what i thought it would be. I expected a formula-made rap like most people are doing, but he just created something so unique. I can't even tell what it is, it's pure feeling.
to be honest, at the beginning i was a little skeptical, but when he got to the middle part where he was screaming at the sky, all my innards twisted in a shared pain. and the absolute desolation and hopelessness at the end. fuck. this is an incredible song and video 😱
@@gingersnap8036 he even said he looks at his pillow and something emotional i forgot but im suprised he didnt name the song blue because he said he feels scar that only people can help hes lonely i know i made no sense but just listen to the lyrics
