Jadrija is a popular summer destination and city district from the town of Šibenik. It is situated on a peninsula Srima about 14 km from the historic town of Šibenik. Renowned as a popular weekend resort among residents of Šibenik, it is one of the favorite summer destinations and city beaches. With Šibenik it is connected with the Adriatic highway, as well as a regular boat service during the summer months. It was founded in 1921 on the island of St. Andrew.
