the title says it all. c': and i think its really cute that he picked up satoori cause of sungjin and dowoon. intro & outro music: Bubblegum K.K. 8 Bit Remix • Bubblegum K.K. 8 Bit R... follow me at / uaenaday11
ikr. The way Dowoon and Sungjin talks always seems so animated. I really enjoy their intonations more even before knowing that they just spoke in Satoori all this time. XD
I had this my others bias in other group who more senior,, he once get scold by dj😰 in his early debut because he use satoori on live radio show,, that's why i'm actually confused,, idk since when, but i see many idols use their satoori freely which is actually good.. and i remember jae ever said that in his early debut too,, he keeps telling by a dj that his korean is really bad that's why his korean didn't improve,, he's actually stressing about korean language..
As far as I know, it's a matter of "etiquette" in the entertainment industry that the "proper" accent and trends in clothes and personal care *must* be what Seoul people do. So it may have come from this standard that djs and other people scold or mock idols who use a different accent. Personally I find this old fashioned and not right at all, I think people should speak the way they do and not change because they're idols, but maybe that's because I don't have an accent myself and switch a lot from one to the other, so idk.
he might talk in english more with young k...and wonpil might not talking too much...so all that left is two busan guys for him to have korean language conversation...that's how he pick up the satoori i guess...it is cute though...
Yeah ur right, I also have this kinda way of speaking, just that in my case I have so many dialects of my language mixed together, I grew up abroad & had convos in purely my language only wen I came back to my country for uni, so obviously as I stayed in dorm with other girls, all frm diff regions, I naturally picked up few bits frm everyone ... No one can guess which region I'm frm by my dialect now 😁
Though in other videos of Day6's member talks in satoori, YoungK is apparently also gotten influenced by Dowoon and Sungjin's satoori. 😂 There's a clip where he was on a broadcast and the other host suddenly asked where he's from because he suddenly used satoori. 😂😂😂 Sungjin and Dowoon's influence is probably too strong on the other members. 😂😂😂
I love the fact that sungjin and dowoon mostly just keeping their satoori. cause most idols from other city like busan just totally changed it to seoul accent and probably just do their satoori to just family and friends
Not all idols have the option to speak using their satoori the members of Seventeen were punished as trainees for speaking in satoori so they don't use it very often.
But for real, this does happen. I happened to attend at a uni in the province where there were students from all around and when they speak there's a certain intonation they'd have. So me a straightlaced let's say Seoul citizen suddenly speaks in satoori and sometimes you don't even notice it until someone points it out for you 😂 so I understand the struggle Jae, but let's be honest it's also so funny and cute 🤣🤣🤣
I feel this, my Mandarin is crap to begin with but the person I speak Chinese to the most is my maternal grandmother and she basically speaks in half Mandarin half Yangzhou dialect. So sometimes I use words that don't exist in Mandarin, the intonation is different, etc. I definitely notice it when I'm trying to type a word in pinyin based on the Yangzhou pronunciation and it doesn't show up (like 粥 sounds like zhou in Mandarin but is zuo in Yangzhou dialect) or when my brother-in-law or boyfriend (who are Taiwanese and Shanghainese+Cantonese respectively) visit and they don't understand my grandmother as well as everyone else in my family who's used to it. Then we roast my grandmother who insists she speaks perfect Mandarin LOL.
@@cats823 😂 To be fair, my entire family roasts the heck out of each other and I will get roasted 500 times for every time I roast someone (also it's more like I state the facts and then my mom roasts her 😂)
I remember when i first started to like felix i wached lots of his videos, so when i came to school and spoke english with my friends i literally became an aussieboo it just came out of nowhere
It's because of him been living with the 2 Busan guys so he kinda familiar with how they speaks so sometimes he suddenly talk like that. I think that's understandable tho cuz I'm like that too. My country hv different dialect for every state so whenever I hv roommate that come from the states that hv their own different dialect and they always speaks with it, it makes me pick up the way she speak. So I suddenly be able to speak a little bit in their dialect w/o I properly learn it 😂😂 but in jae case the funny thing is he's not from Busan and usually idols from Busan is the one that's having difficulty to change the way they speak to the standard language, Seoul accent. He suddenly became a Busan guy 😂😂😂
cuuuuute... I love all accents but Sungjin's satoori has made me weak. And bruh, I'm all Kang-Bra lover 😂😂 My second fave is Dowoon but Sungjin's satoori, melts me. emegerd~
@@nnxnnm seriously? i tried imitating the accent but i always end up with a kapampangan accent even though i've never been in Pampanga and doesn't have any kapampangan relatives lmao
This video is the best showing of satoori I've ever seen! I've never been able to pick it out before but especially that last clip and the little arrows is a great way to hear the difference.
That's actually so cute! Jae is like a sponge with languages and accents, even if he doesn't understand it he still picks it up almost perfectly I'm korean american and my mom is from ulsan and speaks in that dialect so I've picked it up a little. It's so interesting hearing a fellow korean american speak in a dialect without even realizing it
This sometimes happen to me whenever I stay over a place with different intonation in speaking. Like for example, I'm staying at our province for weeks or days, in a short period of time, I adapt to their tone of speaking.
Okay I just had to make a comment in hopes you see it I freaking *love* your intro/outro music it's so freaking cute like I feel like I'm in a happy video game frfr kk sorry wow I wrote a paragraph-💀😂💙
@@uaenaday11 omg animal crossing awww thats probably why it's so adorable literally it made me happy and like start bouncing thats how much happy vibing energy it gave me😂 its seriously so cute ahhh
I do this too lol... my dad is from Jindo (island in korea), and my mom speaks with Jindo dialect sometimes because of my grandmother... because of that I'll have a random accent while talking sometimes asdkfjslkdfskdssss (I'm pretty sure its Jindo, I can't remeber that well rn ;-;)
This is so funny to me because I can relate to it so much. I’m originally from japan but I lived in the us from age 6 to 12 so I’m actually a lot more comfortable speaking English. But I’ve been back in japan for 6 years now(I’m 18) and I’ve picked up a lot of strange accents and dialects from my friends and family and I’m literally just like jae in that sometimes I use them without even realizing.
