The Jaeger-Lecoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar is encased in platinum surrounding a grey dial on a black leather strap. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, day, perpetual calendar, moon phase, and tourbillon. The watch measures 42mm in diameter, 14mm in thickness, and 50.8mm from lug-to-lug.

This is a monster in every sense. While it's rated as a 42mm, the size on the wrist feels more like a 43 or a 44. Don't underestimate its practicality either; the base caliber and perpetual calendar are rock-solid components drawn from JLC's mainstream watches. Best, Tim

Retail price in UK for Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique Quantième Perpétuel in pink gold is 120,000 GBP including 20% VAT, which is $155k. There is one on stock in London Bond Street JLC Boutique. Which is a great price, if you compare it to other brands, but if you buy these watches, always buy them used, because after 2 years their value just tanks. There is one now on Chrono24 in Platinum reference Q5046520 for $79k, full set from 06/2016! That is almost half from full retail of ping gold. They both use the same 985 caliber and platinum is always more special, I even think it was a limited run for Q5046520. I'm sure the platinum one from Chrono24 you can get for a better price, because that stock simply doesn't move (even though I am sure it is consignment) nobody with a right mind would buy that watch for trading (unless you buy it for $40k :-)) _ love you videos Tim!

This is a master timepiece. Don't think I can afford this super high end timepiece but I can't help but to drool over it. I can watch this beauty over & over again especially the back case.... it show all!!! Superbly made & a joy to wear one. Great review Tim.
